This is the perfect sewing cabinet. Plenty of roomy drawers and work space for when I do my quilts. Love the fact that I have the option to keep the work space either up or down for more room. Plus the hydraulic lift allows me to store one machine in the cabinet while sewing on another machine. Highly recommend

I love the final product of this sewing cabinet. Very functional!

The Laverne and Shirley Sewing Cabinet is perfect for my space and sewing needs. The only problem was the order arrived with some defective or damaged pieces. Customer service quickly had the replacements sent out with no additional charges.

Save yourself the hassel and Pass...

This has been an extrememly frustrating experience. First the cabinet came missing 1/2 of the necessary screws. I had this cabinet and packing materials spread all over awaiting the appropriate screws. They were to be delivered on a Thursday and showed up the following Monday evening - literally left by the side of the road propped against a tree. And then they were the wrong screws! We had to drive 30 miles to the nearest Home Depot to buy screws for a $2000 cabinet! The hinges were mislabeled on the Laverne and the drawer components were mislabeled on the Shirley. This wasn't some bix box purchase but an expensive cabinet from a "reputable" company. I expected more...

Very classy. Instructions are good to put it together

This sewing station is great! The extra surface space, the hydraulic lift for a sewing machine and drawers make it all a great work space. It is a bit “putzy” to put together, expect to spend a few hours, but it’s worth it! It arrived super quickly.

Instructions for assembly were difficult to follow. Some pieces were incorrectly marked. Many, many screws (39) were missing and I needed two trips to the hardware store to finish assembly.

Assembly was difficult, screws mislabeled, one piece mislabeled, two pieces damaged, and quality was not good. Already can’t use the cutting portion on Shirley cabinet because it broke at the hinge.

Not the best instructions and not enough of some screws, too many of others or missing all together. I made several trips to edge hardware store. Not good!

My husband and I had fun putting the sewing cabinet together, he is very good with putting things together. It is very sturdy and well-made. I am very happy with the purchase. The only problem I have had is getting the machine to come up, but is easy to move to the down position. Hoping after using it for while my muscles will improve and after using the lift for a while it will be easier.

I was so pleased upon getting this sewing cabinet. The engineering, construction and convivence of this cabinet is fantastic. As my husband assembled it he continually said how well built it was. Very pleased!!!

good functional sewing desk

The desk works well for sewing. There was damage in shipping which SewingMacinesPlus addressed quickly and satisfactorily. The desk itself is made out of pressed particle board which does the job, but it's Ikea-like, so the price is maybe higher than I'd like, but overall, I like the functionality of the desk and the joey. There is some vibration of the sewing machine itself when sewing at high speeds when the machine is level with the table.

The materials and instructions could be better for the price.
