Working as expected. Would be nice to be able to turn off the main light by flipping a second switch only once instead of the two times.

Had a little trouble figuring out how to reprogram the intervals, but it works like expected.

Works perfectly to light up a dark entrance hallway, just off the garage. If you are carrying groceries in, it is so nice to have the hallway light come on automatically.

The Leviton 3-way switch worked well. Read the instructions carefully for wiring. One wrong mistake will cause the switch not to operate.

If you are installing this motion switch in a three way circuit, the other three way switch must be kept in the ON position for this motion switch to work. If you turn the other switch OFF neither switch will work.

Leviton is a trusted name in electronics, widely used for many years. This in-wall switch replaces a single pole or three-way switch to provide motion detection operation. It is rated at 5 Amp and has 180-degree motion detection and programming capabilities. In program mode, you can set light on duration, motion sensitivity, and ambient light levels before switch turns on. The switch comes with a Color change kit to switch from white to ivory to linen face. The switch can be wired for single- or 3-way operation with or without a neutral wire. It is rated at 300W LED and CFL, 600W incandescent, 5A resistive, and up to a ¼ HP motor. I mean untied this in our garage. We don’t have any windows so finding the switch was not convenient. This switch detects motion and Automo turns on and off.

I mounted this in the garage so I have light just walking in. I don’t have a three way switch wired (although this switch can work that way). I don’t want to run the wiring for two three way switches. This is a great option so I don’t have to have three way switches but can still have light whenever I walk into a room. This is also good because my son normally leaves the light on but now it’ll turn off on its own

I didn't know how much I needed this until I got this! I installed this Leviton Motion Sensor light switch in my garage. No more reaching with full hands around the dark corner coming out to the garage with trash to find the switch. It has the capability of being used as a 3-way switch, but I am using it in a Single Pole situation.

I ordered the Leviton Decora motion sensor light switch. The switch uses 5 Amps and can be used in Single Pole (controls light from one location) or 3-way (allows controlling lights from two locations) configuration. The switch is compatible with LED bulbs, CFL bulbs and Incandescent bulbs. The switch box came with White, Ivory and light Almond color cover plates. The sensor has a 180 degree field of view. A ground or neutral wire is required for operation. Automatically turns the light on when the sensor senses movement with 900 sq.ft. It works really well.

[Rewarded Review] Flexible Applications & Made for Ease-of-Installation

I installed this in one end of a hallway where it will be activated when someone walks down the steps to the finished basement. Once someone is in the other living areas the light turns off after one minute. That’s one of the programmable choices (1, 5, 10 and 20 minutes.). My installation was in a two-gang electrical box with neutral wiring. The other switch controls the light for the stairs. It remained hot when I turned off the breaker to wire the hall switch so be sure to check for this condition in multi-gang electrical boxes. Installation is easy and that’s partly because the switch is compact in size for a specialty switch. Instructions cover each scenario of installation for single pole or 3-way switch and with or without a neutral wire. The pictures show the wires that will be in the electrical box as well as the connections on the back of the switch. While the line and load wires are interchangeable, electricians will probably continue to use the lower black wire as the line. The switch does NOT come with wire nuts or a cover plate so prepare accordingly before you start installing. The switch sensitivity is what I would expect based upon the literature. There are only a couple of settings for this, which change with the timeout setting. The product fully meets my expectations.

[Rewarded Review] Straight forward installation with good instructions.

Great for a room that you want the light to turn on when you enter without looking for the switch. I used it in laundry room that is 8'x12' (entry way into the house from the garage) since I'll be carrying groceries etc and don't have a free hand for the light switch. It also turns off after I'm out of the area.

[Rewarded Review] Multifunction Switch, Works Well but Challenging to Program

I recently installed this device in a remote shower room area, where it was not uncommon to find the lights left on for long periods. We wanted a device where the “on” time could be controlled to stay on through shower routines and save energy by dousing the lights when the room was unoccupied. This sensor solved those concerns.

[Rewarded Review] Easy to install and use.

This motion sensor switch is easy to install and perfect for my needs! The instructions are very clear, with good diagrams where it is hard to describe in words. The pre attached wires, while they feel a little flimsy when you’re used to wiring with solid wires, actually make the installation easier. No wire nuts are included, as your size needs may vary, so don’t forget to pick those up if you don’t keep a stash on hand.

This motion sensor is very hard to program. Please pay attention that the wall mount plate doesn’t come the sensor. I have other smart computer people to try with no luck
