This is the EASIEST thing I have ever put together. I mean it. It sat in the box for a week because you know, sometimes you just gotta work up the courage to assemble a piece of furniture. I wish I hadn't. It took me MAYBE 30 minutes. It's great. The cubbies are for shoes, but since our living room is also my son's play space, it serves as a great entry bench and toy shelf.
