Used these plus the Cadet heaters to replace a bunch of very old baseboard heaters in a rental. It'd be great if the heaters came with this option pre-installed, but it wasn't too much of a hassle to put these on. They work well and provide quiet, even heat.

Product works fine but metal is smaller than the metal on the heater leaving ugly gaps. The hole binding the thermostat to the heater is pre drilled and too close to drill a different hole so the gaps are created. Not the nicest looking but works.

Stuck On Twice

No problems with this last winter, but this year it has stuck on twice. The first time it got my shop up to over 100 degrees before I noticed. The second time it only got to 86 because I was checking it frequently. I conclude that the contacts do not meet the stated current rating and weld closed.

Three out of five heaters had failed factory wire crimps. Never trust them. Open both sides and tug on all connectors.
