Light is so dim you can barely see it

Have installed several of these. Work great. Easy install. I typically use foam outlet insulation pad to prevent light from leaking around the outside of the cover, depending on installation surface

Built strong

These are great for stair lights. Nice and bright. Built nice

LED Step Light

Works great. Would be even better if manufacturer would add some black foam around the four edges of the plate to prevent light leak.

Not bright

These are basically worthless for illumination. Maybe they can be used as a night light but not for reliable illumination of dark steps.

Great product and price.. used on the wall behind an outdoor countertop area.

Lasted one year

Product stopped working a year after installing. There was a sever thunderstorm in the area at the time.

Light Right

I would have made this a 5 star rating, and it is hard to not do so given the great price of these and the equally great look they provide on my stairs. They are not however dimmable (as reflected by every site that offers them for sale...I contacted progress lighting directly to confirm this, after having purchased two different dimmer switches (thinking it was my switch). I installed mine as part of a stair remodel, and like that they are hardwired directly to a single phase line, vice low voltage wires...so I could wire them as part of the framing. Despite not dimming, I would recommend them, and encourage purchasing from Lowe's due to the terrific price that makes installing them on every few steps affordable (vice a lighting store, which offered them at a huge mark-up)
