The glass globes are fragile. They were packed in fitted styrofoam inside a study cardboard box, which was inside a larger box stuffed with inflated plastic packing. The lights arrived undamaged. The hardest step is judging how long the cord should be. They have a clean, modern look, but they don't give perfect lighting in all situations. They cast shadows and can be harsh.
