Cheap copy of an original design

This is a cheap copy of the original Pilke pendant designed by Tuuka Halonen. The original piece even wan Good Design Award. Maxim Lighting should be ashamed. This item should be taken off the website immediately. Also you can see the low quality of this piece even from the images. Terrible...

Wood Chandelier

It’s beautiful. The wood is a little paler than I expected. But it is still very dramatic and perfect for my entry hall. Looks really great lit up.

The construction of this light is really cool! That part is just as pictured. The color, however, is totally different than shown, unfortunately. The one that I received actually looks like they forgot to stain it. It is light yellow/blonde wood, not brown.

I bought this piece and a smaller one from this collection and absolutely love it. They add a little style to my small apartment

Beautiful design but looks unfinished

The review interface required me to say what room it was installed in. Let me emphasize that we DID NOT install or keep this light. In fact, we didn't even fully unwrap its package because it was clear that the unfinished look of the wood would not work in our living room. If it had a bit of varnish or a richer stain to the wood it would be much more appealing. We liked the geometric design very much however and were disappointed that it didn't fit the design for our room. Customer service has been very good at Lighting New York. Complex geometric shape is beautiful and seems like it would diffuse light well. Wood joinery is impressive. It looks like unfinished balsa wood -- like something from an unfinished craft project. It might be delicate, although who is going to treat a pendant light hard? It guess it might be tedious to clean, especially if one has to treat it very gently.

Cool Design!

This light is great. The wooden design creates beautiful patterns on the surrounding walls and can turn a boring white wall into a work of art with the flick of a switch. I put a nice warm (2700k) LED filament bulb in mine and it makes the room feel so cozy and warm. I love the way the wood illuminates and it's slightly transparent layers glow orange and brings out a lot of great texture of the wood grain. You can't go wrong with this fixture! It brings life to any dull room.

It looks like an unfinished project from a craft store

Wanted to love it but it just didn't look like it does online. I returned it because it looked cheap and for the price it should look good.
