If you use this product you need to be aware that it is difficult to work with. It is natural pine that is only about 1/2 inch thick and warps really bad. It can work fine with just a flat straight wall, but if you have to build any corners then it becomes a real problem. The wood chips really bad for the corners and since it is pre-stained, then the raw pine is exposed at the corners even if you cut on a 45 degree angle. Now you have to restain the wood again to make it even. In addition, pione is a very soft wood and warps and easily becomes damaged when a vacuum or furniture his the panels. All the photos of people liking the material are showing only flat walls in the living room or bedroom. Buyer beware.

The material was warped and not usable. I bought 10 boxes and had to return 5. Material is very soft and when you make a cut to fit, it chips along the edge (although I put a new blade in the saw). Said it was black, but it is really grey. Says it is 1x6 but really it is 1/2 x 4 1/2, so you will need to adjust your calculations on how much you need. If you want that old barn look, and all you have is a straight wall with no cuts, then it will work for you.

Overpriced for what I received

I was really disappointed by the planks. Almost all of them were cupped, which resulted in us having to also face nail them. I haven't contacted the company yet to give them an opportunity to rectify the problem. I'm short due to the cupping. Some were so bad that I just had to cull them out. I probably would have sent the whole lot back but my carpenter didn't tell me until he had almost an entire box up so my bad on that. I should have just bought cedar and painted it. I probably could have saved a couple of hundred dollars.
