Damage and Missing Parts

The purchase and shipping process was great. However, when I received the desk the wood was cracked that held the screw for the rail of the left desk drawer. The panel under the desk is flimsy and the staples were loose or missed the wood on the right side of the desk. Part of the panel was smashed and falling loose. Instructions for attaching the legs were inside the body of the desk. One screw was missing for attaching the legs. I agree with other reviewers that the product was packaged really good so the damage is happening during the manufacturing process.

Poor quality!

The appeal of this product was that it is made of wood, but the workmanship is lacking. Drawer sides are warped, and the slides on the drawers are cheap and make the drawers tough to pull open. But the biggest disappointment is the finish. The white paint is dull and poorly covers the wood. Thin around the edges and corners of the desk top with obvious finger prints and smudges on the bottom edges of desk top and on the hutch.

Great desk, goes nicely with daughter's white furniture. Very good quality and easy to put together.

Great pre-teen desk!

Bought this desk for my 11 year-old-daughter's room. It's great! And has been an essential part of distance learning this year and holds all of her school supplies (and then some). And it's attractive and well made.

It's beautiful I bought it with a hutch. Now my daughter took the hutch of the desk and use it as a vanity. Only con is it can easily be stained it with liquid. Drawers are also very small

Beautiful and very well made. We had trouble removing the drawers to attach the legs, but if you pull really hard they will come out. Desk arrived in perfect condition and was well protected during shipping.

Damaged

This desk was for my daughter’s birthday. She was so upset when we opened it to find multiple damage to the desk and hutch.

Recieved damaged

My item was delivered today as damaged similar to what has happened per other reviews, hutch is busted and gaping in places and the desk is dented as well as the drawer is damaged on the left side, which is really ashame because it truly is a beautiful piece of furniture. Some of the damage looks like it was at the manufacturer's and it probably didn't help when FedEx flopped it on our concrete steps. I definitely love it so I will try and get a replacement or reorder. Its perfect for my space. Just disappointing that people aren't as careful with things as they would be their own..... I have several other pictures but it would only let me upload 2.

Arrived DAMAGED

Desk arrived DAMAGED. Though this is not necessarily Walmart's fault (no way to prove how it left their warehouse or where the damage occurred), I am still extremely disappointed. The desk is now out of stock and all Walmart can do is say "I'm sorry, ma'am". Wonderful Christmas this is going to be when my daughter has NOTHING to open.

This desk has been perfect for my daughter. It has all the cubbies for her trinkets and pictures, drawer storage to keep her desk from getting too cluttered, and still lots of workspace for a child doing homework. It is very solid and sturdy and is easy to clean. She has moved her room around several times, and it's been easy to fit anywhere because it isn't huge.

The table came in with some issues but customer service was excellent with assisting with resolving the issues. The desk is pretty, perfect for a little girl. Great deal!!

Attractive well made. The middle drawer seems ti be a little too deep. Doesn't allow enough leg room for average height chair

Perfect Desk for teenagers room!

This desk is the perfect size for a teenager's room and girl! The crystal knobs add a classy touch! Love the drawers and finish! Very happy with this purchase!
