Best ever t-bolt design

This bolt/nut design is by far the best I have ever used to install/reinstall a toilet. It makes the t-bolts very secure during toilet installation, and with the tall cap design- eliminates having to trim the bolt, which also eliminates the risk of the t-bolt coming out of the channel because of the vibration and back-and-forth forces put on the bolt during trimming. And because they keep their length, they don't have to be replaced. I will always have a few of these on hand and wish that American Standard would make them available through Lowes and/or Home Depot!

Best bolt kit idea

There multiple thing I like about this kit. The main thing is the metal sleeve nuts hold the bolts in the perfect spot when dropping the toilet into place; I cannot emphasize this enough, the bolts stay in the perfect spot. Once the toilet is set, the plastic nuts are easy to tighten and keep you from over tightening and cracking the toilet.

This item is easy to use to tighten down a toilet to the flange and to the floor. It does not work with all American Standard toilet caps!

This is a great bolt kit. Easy to install. Plastic nuts won't crack the ceramic toilet. Tall bolt caps usually eliminate the need to cut bolts after installation.

I would buy this again...and have!

I believe this is the best bolt camp kit that I have come across as an occasional DIY toilet replacer. Will have this in use on 3 toilets after the guest bathroom toilet upgrade.

Inaccurate description picture

Do not rely on the picture description. You only get two plastic nuts and one cap. You will not get the two bolts or metal washers.

A great idea.

I love these kits for securing a toilet to the floor. The main reason why is because they secure the toilet securely and there is almost zero chance of overtightening and cracking the bowl.

Good product but expensive

The product simplifies setting a toilet. I like that the plastic nuts are hand tightened (without tools). This virtually eliminates any chance of over tightening against the porcelain. The caps secure directly to the plastic nut. The caps provide enough clearance to eliminate the need of cutting the bolt to secure the cap. I find that this product saves time and eliminates the need of a hacksaw when setting a toilet.
