The unit works great and was easy to install There are many uses for this device! It would’ve been nice to have a two prong polarized plug instead of a three prong but in my application it did not create an issue. The unit does do an odd thing went first powered up, that is three blinks of the connected lamp! No explanation in instructions, but it only happens when first powered up.

Automatic switch controls

These work great. I got them to automatically start fans in my garage and shop. I like them!

Doesnt work well

Purchase this item and it worked as it should for a couple of weeks. Now when I walk by the sensor, it does nothing. I keep having to unplug and plug it back in for it to work. Even then, itll work for about a day. Stay clear of this product!

Motion detection sensor

It simply did not work for my instillation. It worked 3 times. All 3 times it detected motion at a different distance. It failed after the 3rd time. In all fairness....I used it in an outdoor (but not in direct sunlight) setting. I tried it in daylight hours and in nighttime hours. I have other motion detection lighting that works.

Works good

Works good for my needs in my garage to turn on a light. Its not an instant on but its pretty quick. the range I am using for the remote ia about 8-10 feet.

Junk

My bad. I bought it even after reading reviews that said it goes on by itself and stays on. Thats exactly what it did on day two. On day 4 it simply stopped working all together. It now rests somewhere on a large mountain of trash.

This is the type of motion sensor that can make your life a little easier

This motion sensor is one of the best that I've seen. I have five of this type of sensor. I plug it into a timer turns on at sunset, off at sunrise. No batteries to replace set it and forget it, What a concept! I have a cat genie and I use this type of sensor to turn on the light for the cat to use the litter Box and another sensor to turn on a light over the food and water cat bowls.

Let there be light

Bought it to put in the garage for when my wife gets her car. Plugged a lamp into it and now my wife doesnt have to worry about tripping. Works great!!

nice option for light with motion sensor

works great, many uses for places that need a light to come on before you can get to switch.

OK but realize what you are buying

While the motion sensor kicks the switch on pretty accurately, the timer function leaves a lot to be desired, 1 minute setting really means about 15 minutes and if you go to the 30 minute it pretty much never turns off. It works ok for my application and the price was right but you may feel differently if accuracy is important to you.

Pretty slow response

This is a great idea but the device doesn't pull it off very well. The response time is up to 2 seconds which can seem like 2 minutes walking into a dark room. The range of response is less than advertised too. While a 90 degree response "range" seems good enough, that and the slow response time make for a poor value
