Lightweight easy to install and just flexible enough to meet the contours of my 150 year old house. Great product.

Nice Look

This product added the finishing touch to my freshly painted room. It is lightweight,easy to cut and work with. The only downside is there is only one corner piece that works with this molding, as confirmed by a representative at Ekena Millwork. I modified the ones I had bought by mistake. Their website lists a phone number for any questions or concerns. I would buy this again, just in a size where there is a better variety in corner pieces.Overall, a good product, good value.

Quality moulding

This moulding is good quality. Received the correct length (just shy of 8' as ordered). Would be nice if they made longer lengths. Perhaps something in the manufacturing process prevents them from doing so. Comes pre-primed from the factory and the urethane material is very easy to work with and more consistent and forgiving than wood. The only downside is that the material is quite flexible so it's very easy to get high points if you're not careful when attaching. If you're attaching to ceiling however, this is not a concern. Ekena Millworks has a huge crown moulding offering.

Super easy to install

Just be careful that there are no deep scratches. Absolutely love the polyurethane though because it makes it super easy to install and cut.

the piece is beautiful. good quality piece of woodwork. Unfortunately, there is a big ding in one edge. Appears to come from a strap in the original wood and was missed??? Shipping was quick. Box was not damaged in any way. Need it today, so cannot return, but would if I had time. Love the piece, please get the feedback to the manufacturer to ensure the craftsmen and packaging people do not miss these kinds of dings.

Good decision to look at the samples first

Before buying crown moulding, I bought at least 10 samples. It was as great way to see how the product would look in my house.

Lots of products and I love them all

I ordered columns, shutters, moulding, and a wall niche. I’m sure I ordered more Ekena products, but that’s all I can remember now. They are all awesome. The Ekena urethane is light-weight and easy to install. The FRP column looks like wood but will last forever. And the vinyl shutters were so cheap but make my house look great. It’s amazing how small elements can change the look of a house and add tremendous value!
