Lovely shade of warm white, just right

In contrast to one of the other reviewers, I was pleased that it was more of a warm/creamy white (by no means brown! as that reviewer stated.) I really wanted a warm white without those cold gray tones that you see sometimes, and this is the perfect color. Not a stark white, but if you appreciate warmth this is a nice choice. If you hold it up to a sheet of printer paper, it will appear slightly creamy; if you put it next to anything that is not white, it will appear white itself.

Good dinnerware and could not beat the sale price for an 18 piece set. The description clearly says "White", but beware that it is a cream as cream can be.

Beautiful 12 in oval serving bowl

Excellent quality. Perfect family size bowl to serve salads and summer fruits (like watermelon). Matches beautiful with the rest of collection. A must have.

Love love love these dishes. I got 2 of the 6 dinner/salad plate and soup bowl sets. Got them on sale and what a deal!!! Was looking for upscale everyday dinner ware and this collection is exactly what I wanted. Elegant but not fussy. Lightweight and thin but not fragile- I have a six year old boy! Color is not pure white, which is fine with me but just FYI. Highly recommend. Plan to add to my collection.

This set is beautiful. I use it for everyday use and it could be used for finer dining. They look so beautiful on my table and are light weight. They have a very sheak appearance. I bought the set when they were 50 percent off at Macy's and used a 15 percent off coupon on top of that - it was a great deal that I could not pass up. Also, the food does look very nice and appealing - I use the large curved dishes for my regular set and have some oval shaped pieces - i did not buy any of the round, as they look to ordinary. I was overall looking for "change" and this did the trick.

they are really great

They are classic and modern style. I use them as serving dishes with other villeroy & boch patterns and other brands. They work perfectly. They DO make foods outstading. I LOVE IT!!!!

COTTAGE COLLECTION

I absolutely love this collection of oblong shaped dishes & mugs. They have some round in collection as well but the oblong is so beautiful. It is the perfect collection as it has the oblong shaped everything and the pure white porcelain feels so smooth and is so pretty and looks perfect on table. I love the oblong shaped mugs as well. They are so adorable and make the your home cooked food or take out look like a gourmet dinner. They are casual every day dishes and pretty for fine dining as well. I am so tired or the gold or silver rims and designs. The white is perfect for me and althogh they are not heavy they are not super delicate either. Love them.
