Excellent quality/ great customer service

I had to move a rectangular chandelier a few inches and this rectangular medallion enhanced the light plus kept me from having to paint the entire ceiling if the patch paint was not a perfect match. I called the company several times to ask their suggestion for what size medallion would work best (within 4 of the chandelier perimeter), the height of the projection, the thickness of the base and the width inside and outside the projection cause I wanted to be able to drill into ceiling joists (although they recommend an adhesive? but I couldn?t figure how to hold the medallion in place while the adhesive dried with out screwing it to the ceiling? so I just used screws). Very pleased with the product and the resulting look!

This does the trick!

Purchased this as there was a gap we needed to cover up between the fixture and the ceiling. This does the trick. There is a slight gap between the 2 pieces but with some wood putty and paint, it should look fine.

covered the old junction box and looks fabulous!

I wanted to hang a rectangular chandelier over my rectangular dining room table, but the previous fixture was off center and the junction box wasnt in the center of the room. I thought this would be a good solution, and I bought it out of necessity. However, when I finished, I was so pleased with the look that Im glad I had to use it. I think the medallion enhances the fixture and now I wouldnt want to have the chandelier up there without it! I kept the original junction box where it was because there is no access to it as there is no attic space, so I threaded the wiring through the ceiling and fished it down through a hole I drilled. I used the adapter that came with the fixture and toggle bolted it through the ceiling because the polystyrene medallion cant support the weight of the fixture. I also used heavy duty double stick carpet tape to adhere it flat to the ceiling as well as four screws. I covered the screw holes with wood buttons and painted the whole thing flat black (before I installed it) to match the black and gold fixture I hung. Problem solved and room looks great with this addition!

Needed in a pinch

Architectural Depot was the only place we could find this medallion which was needed for a lighting installation. Great price! Their price beat the other vendors pricing, who didn't even have them in stock.

Hole in One

After having a ceiling fan/light installed, electrician left me with a big hole in ceiling. The ceiling medallion covered the hole and even helped stabilize the fan!

Great Looking!

Need a more contemporary mediallion and a large one to conceal holes in the ceiling. This totally fit the bill. Only downside is that the edges were quite rough and I had to spend some time sanding to get a better finished look once painted. WOuld recommend!

high quality

I bought this medallion to hide a hole that was larger than the fixture and it did the trick perfectly. It is a very nice quality and I could easily paint it to match my ceiling. I'm so happy I had an issue to correct, otherwise I would not have thought to use a medallion and it really makes the light.

Timeless medallion

This piece is a great accessory to any lighting fixture. Our ceiling had a small hole that needed covering so this was perfect a solution. It changed the room and added dimension to the ceiling. We painted it white to match, the only thing I would want improved is the sides. The side doesn't are not finished the same as the flat surface. The interior cutting doesn't hold paint the same. a piece of veneer would help that area.
