Ordered 30 of these for the specific purpose that I thought it would be a molded piece where you would not see the cellular core of the pvc on any side. The item was shipped to me with a raw edge on all 4 edge sides which is disappointing when you consider you can just buy a 12 foot piece of rectangular baseboard and cut it the same way yourself for much less, and even then you would have two smooth molded sides assuming you only do crosscuts. The idea of this product to me is that you finish the top corners of a door entry or something of that fashion, you want smooth surfaces so that you don't have to do "touch ups" after the fact. At least if you value detail oriented results for the money you are spending.

Needed product because rosettes I was using were too thin for trim I was using. Used these under them so rosettes would be about an inch thick. Quality of product was good. Outcome looks great!
