A little heavier than expected. Getting the handles on wasn't completely clear, but we got it done.

I need to clean areas that are too high to reach, and need to feel balanced during the job. The unit is heavier and solid and can be walked to its destination one leg wobble at a time. The safety handles are well worth any extra room it may take.

I would buy this again and recommend it to friends.

Very good for our small library. Patrons can reach the books

We needed a ladder to reach books on the top shelves. This is sturdy and with hand holds enables children and older adults to reach top shelves. Top step can be used as a seat while selecting book.

I was extremely disappointed

This was highly unsafe to use. The top shelf sits over the bottom shelf, leaving barely 5 inches of the 10 inch step to put your feet on before your shin hits the top step!! This tends to put you off balance, pitching you backwards. The design is flawed!!

Great ladder stool at a good price.

I bought this stool for my 80 year old mother to help her reach things without the risk of falling. The rails on the side and top of the ladder provide that extra security and stability we were looking for. It's a little heavier than we would like, but like I said my 80 year old mom is using it. With that being said, I am still considering buying one for my aunt as well.

Safety lever bent!

I had a miserable time with this company. Sent me the wrong item to begin with. Gave me alot of runaround. Took me from 9/05/21 to 12/10ish/21 to get item. Said didn't want the ladder as I ordered one from another place. Asked to just credit my account. They sent me the ladder anyway. Very unprofessional. Totally lacking in customer satisfaction. Very sad. Kept the ladder as I didn't want the hassle again. Never again.

As a senior citizen I needed a stepladder with something to hold on to when climbing for household needs.

Safety rails too low - look for a 3 step instead

Great concept for a ladder, but I should have gone with the three step ladder as I originally had intended. I bought this as a gift for my parents, neither of who are comfortable on any step ladders. I thought about getting the 3 step but then thought, they would still never use the top step, so why get the three step? I went to put this two step together before giving it to them to ensure the rails went on correctly because some reviews say they don't go on well. I lined the rails up with the holes while standing to see where they landed and immediately thought "well this is plumb dumb." The rails are so low they are useless. A person practically has to bend over just to reach the top of the rails. Disgruntled, I sat staring at the ladder without the rails on it. I then just tested it without the rails. The extra long top handle is wonderful...if your on the first step. Once you move to the second step, again you now have nothing to hold onto as the the handle lands about 4-6 inches below where you would need the rail to support you while standing on the ladder. I'm returning it and buying a three step because then hopefully the handrails will actually be in an appropriate place and not at the knees and when one stands on the second step the top rail will be high enough to support the hands without having to bend over. This one works great if you only ever need to use the first step and need stability, it is a very stable step ladder, but again, the side rails are still pretty useless.

My friends should have this ladder

I bought this product from another company & returned it because the holes on the "arms didn't line up with the holes on the ladder. Also when I attached one & 1/2 arms they bowed in & made the steps narrower. I returned it. I ordered from Collections Etc. because I really liked this ladder. I attached the arms backwards so the bow out a bit keeping the steps wide enough to climb. I also have the 4 step companion ladder. On the 2nd step of either ladder I'm up with the lights & fan blades on my ceiling fans. I can reach the to shelf of my cabinets, ceiling lights, change the batteries in smoke alarms & I feel secure on the ladder. the 4 step is great outside as well as inside.

This is a amazing product. Would recommend to anyone.
