know what you're getting yourself into

I've been hanging paper for 35 years. This stuff was a challenge. It is VERY fragile when wet, but small tears are easily fixed & invisible when dry. It's also nearly impossible to trim wet. I would recommend a perfect pre-cut along the top (if your ceilings are straight) and then wait till it's dry to trim the bottom/around doors and windows. this means that some of the paper may lift away as it's drying. Pain in the butt. BUT covers crappy lumpy plaster beautifully. godspeed.

Texture is tougher than the paper!

No matter how careful you are or how sharp your brand-new blade is, you will wind up making tears in the paper because the printed texture material is tougher than the paper. You can NOT drag the knife hard enough to cut the texture without tearing the paper underneath first.

I used this wallpaper over existing wallpaper that I could not thoroughly remove. I used vinyl to vinyl adhesive and it worked very well. This wallpaper gave me a nice clean slate that I will paint. Very happy with it!

Very delicate and can tear when wet, but is a wonderful product to cover a wall with many minor defects. I would advise letting each strip dry prior to adding the next strip for fewer gaps.
