Beautiful piece of furniture! Exceeds expectations. Purchased with matching office suite including 2 credenzas, bookcase hutch, and desk. One credenza arrived with a gouge on the top surface, which was reimbursed rather than returned.
Love it only problem things are hare to get in and out of the drawer!

Slight problem; customer service solved
Much more attractive than most file cabinets. Top drawer not level and key not included; I think that was a return, but customer service sent a key and lock assembly and gave the option of a replacement. Since the drawer does lock I'm keeping it. Will work with a French country kind of look (my favorite) and would also work with vintage or coastal. Good sturdy piece for the price despite the slightly wonky top drawer. ******* also had this piece on clearance, and their price was higher than Overstock's. I'm happy; really like the look.
Great lateral file credenza
Just received last week. It is beautiful in my office, appears well made and is very heavy.

I love this file cabinet! I like the style and it's functional too. I love that both drawers lock separately so one can be locked and the other can remain unlocked. Sturdy cabinet, no assembly required! I was worried that this piece wouldn't hold up with professional office use however, I have one drawer full of files and it still opens and closes with ease. My item did arrive damaged. It looked like it was dropped in shipping, one corner of the box was smashed in and there were several holes in the box. But Overstock had amazing customer service and sent a replacement immediately! They were very apologetic even though it was definitely not their fault. I received a replacement in just under a week and it arrived in great condition. I almost didn't buy this item because there were no reviews, I'm SO glad I did!
