Great chairs

These chairs are great. We ordered 2 of the 18" natural wood frame with forest green canvas seat/back. All you have to do is put the canvas on. Chair is assembled. Very prompt delivery. Sturdy and beautiful.

It's too bad that these were such poor quality. We were very disappointed. They were difficult to get in and they tipped over. They're high (which we wanted) but were so hard to sit in. Very wobbly. Not a good quality product. I would not recommend these chairs.

BUY IT

If you’re debating it DONT. JUST GET IT! I searched on other sites for a chair similar to this one and the prices were around $70-$80. This was perfect! Great cost and great product. Holds weight well! Not flimsy at all

Great chair

Good quality sturdy and exactly how described. Would definitely recommend to a friend. I added a vinyl sticker to the cloth and designed my son a really cool chair. He loved it. Great addition to a teens rooms. Love the color choices

Practical Chairs

I bought one chair. It looked great, so I ordered another one to create a pair. Together they create a nice sitting nook. They are can be used in so many environments, (indoors and outdoors). They are a nice accent to any decor. The color selection makes them versatile; I chose black for my Asian theme. The chairs are sturdy and the canvas is good quality. I can move them about as needed.

Not hard to set up at all

This is a very attractive and easy chair for moving and using in parks and plazas. It was easy to get in and out of, and set up with the instructions. We like natural products so avoid the plastic and polyester types of chairs. We were super happy with this and would get more when we need them.

We bought two to use as extra seating and to take along on car trips. The honey oak finish looks great. They arrived assembled aside from slipping on the canvas seat and back; and, attaching the foot rest. The hitch is that the foot rest, once installed, does not allow the chair to fold for storage/travel. So, we'll take along a screw driver and make adjustments as we go.

Easy assembly and the fabric has vibrant color

I always wanted one of these chairs. I'm tall for a woman (5'9") and oftentimes most chairs are too small for me and my long legs. I wasn't expecting much with this chair, but I was happily proven wrong. It was very easy to put together. It took only 5-10 minutes. I chose the purple fabric and it really is a pretty shade of purple. Recommend this chair!

Good enough for Super Bowl LVII.

I bought 200 of these for use at the Super Bowl in Arizona. Finish is really nice. Easy to assemble. I had to modify the foot peg so you can fold it down, other wise it stay in an open, fixed position. Took a bit of work...I could only order 20 at a time. I wish Overstock had a business account where you could buy in bulk, but hey Overstock did have the quantity I needed in stock a a great price. The customer (****) was happy with the product for their VIP Clients at Super Bowl LVII.

Ordered the Honey Oak frame but actually received the White painted frame. Chair will not fold up for storage without removing a bolt from the foot rest as the foot rest is bolted to both front chair legs. A bit inconvenient. I should have noted the chair seat dimensions as the seat is not deep enough for an average male to sit comfortably.

mini version, good for small space

Director's chairs in black frame, royal blue canvas are very attractive, very nice quality. Only downside is they are sized a little small and would not work, for instance at a dining table. The chair seems more suitable for an older child than an adult. My 6'2" husband overpowers the chair.

Short lived

I bought these so I could fold them down when needed. That works but it does require a screwdriver. That’s a bummer but what’s really a bummer is how I’ve had them for like a month and I have already seen wear, stretching of the seat fabric. Note: I live in an RV and these chairs have only been used twice so far. For the price point I’d expect them to last at least six months 🤷🏼‍♀️People noted using these for trade shows - I can’t imagine they don’t throw them away afterwards if the wear I have seen in such a short time is indicative Of the workmanship/ quality.

Not warned about No Return policy

These chairs were too high for my table. I tried to return them to Unbeatable Sales only to be told they DO NOT TAKE FURNITURE RETURNS! There was no mention of this on the Walmart website. After quite a few phone calls and complaints, Walmart gave me a refund on my purchase. Thank you WalMart. No thank you Unbeatable Sales. Buyer Beware!

We love the chair and the canvas color was true to the description. The chair is a classic that deserves its modern offering. My only issue is the heft or weight of the chair. We have an older version of the Director's Chair and it has a more solid feel. I may be over stressing this as the chair was never disturbed in a wind storm, It stayed put! Enjoy your purchase. We certainly have!

A Great deal as far as I'm concerned.

This collapsible chair is only collapsible upon folding it up. The back piece slides off and on easily, but will not come off when it is folded outward for use. I would recommend this for folks weighing under 275 lbs. (U.S.) to be on the safe side as it is only cloth and a fairly light grade, but sturdy enough, to a limit, wood. I like mine a lot. They are probably great for the yard, but their useful life will not be maximized by leaving them outside in the sun. I use mine in a relatively small spacce inside, so I fold it up and put it in a closet where the cats cannot get to it AND where it frees up that small space in return making the small space where the chair is when I am using it, a larger space when the chair isn't in use. I hope this helps.

Great chair, easily transportable, good value

They're beautiful, comfortable, and strong. Easy to assemble; you just slot the cloth seat into the framework and slip the cloth back onto the pegs above the arms. The footrest is also easy to attach, needing only a screwdriver to attach, and fit within moments. They fold for easy transport; just remove the footrest and cloth back, fold the armrests down, and then fold the legs together. Very satisfied and would recommend.

Only for the truly tiny

The director's chair looked very like others we own, so we bought two complete chairs and two sets of covers for some others we have. The chairs may be standard height, but they are narrower than others. The hand rest on the arms is crudely made with an unfinished feel to the ends. The seat covers are about 2 inches or more narrower than the chairs for which they were intended. The chairs may work well for a small female. I am petite and can sit in them. I doubt an average male or larger female could fit into the chair. Heavy hips? Forget about it.The return was free and easy to complete, so the company is trustworthy.

Comfortable but quality control stinks

The box arrived full of holes but I was happy to see nothing was missing or damaged inside. However, when opening it up to put the canvas seat and back on, I discovered one arm would not open all the way up to allow the canvas back to slide on. This was not due to shipping, the hinges on that side were attached in the wrong position and would not allow the arm to open. This should have been caught by quality control before leaving the factory! After removing and reattaching the hinges, it works just fine and is quite comfortable. My other complaint is that the footrest needs to be removed to fold it up which is very inconvenient since I bought this to bring to craft shows. I understand the need to remove the foot rest for folding, but perhaps it could be easier and more quickly removed with some wing nuts. Less

Great chair, but a few things...

We own many directors chairs, upgraded two old ones with two of these. Quite solid and sturdy, we really like them except that the footrest must be removed with a screwdriver before it can fold (knew that, got it anyway). Only had one issue: One corner of one canvas seat was sewn wonky, it JAMMED bad in the chair slit upon installation. Huge efforts to unjam caused a rip-- no choice but to replace it. The rest were easy and only a few minutes to install them all, so one bad corner could be a rare thing. It's a good chair, a great deal, and only two out of the many we own that doesn't fold without hassle, I can live with that. I recommend this chair if you don't care about removing screws to fold it.

Just what I wanted

We had picked up a natural oak table for very little, but needed chairs that wouldn't break the bank, yet would stand up to several hours of gaming time in relative comfort. These are just perfect!The assembly was minimal, simply slide on the canvas seat and backing. Opening the metal brace was the trickiest part as it's quite tight and you could pinch your fingers easily. But at least you know it won't wear out too soon.We ordered the Hunter Green color and it is a true, rich shade of dark green. As we will have these inside the majority of the time, fading shouldn't be an issue.The size of the seat is quite comfortable for an average sized person. Arms are sufficiently sturdy to comfortably rest your weight on them. Joints seem to be tight so far. And the plastic guard on the bottom of the legs is an additional touch that might be important if you plan on using the chairs on hardwood floors. These will mostly stay upstairs on carpeting, but now I won't worry about scratching my laminate if I need to bring them downstairs for extra seating sometimes. Less
