not actually 9 inches!

The cakes come of out this pan easily and baked evenly. But it is not actually 9 inches!! Also the sides are not straight, but slanted outward. Don't combine layers baked in this pan with those baked in actual 9 inch cake pans!

I bought expensive cake pans elsewhere and after a couple years they developed a black residue. I needed to replace them and decided to buy these. So far they have worked great.

Not a cake pan

The sides of this pan are not verticle. I don't know what the pan is intended for but its label says it is round, not that it is a cake pan.

Good results at a good price

I discovered at the last minute that I needed a third cake pan but only had two, so I bought this pan after seeing that it got good reviews on the Target website. I divvied up the cake batter between this and the other two pans, but the cake that was cooked in this pan turned out best. It rose better than the batter in the other two pans and this cake just looked better overall. Even my husband noticed the difference. It also came out of the pan easily.

Not good for layer cakes

Grabbed this last minute so I could make a 3 layer cake without baking in batches. My other 2 are 9 inch caphalon. This one is significantly smaller and also was the only pan to have some of the cake fall in the center. It’s not a straight edge pan either. I didn’t realize any of this until o went to assemble my layers. Would not recommend for layer cakes

Bought this for a flan, but I've also used it for cakes and other pastries. It holds up well, washes easily, and seems to be very versatile.
