Very nice sturdy dining chairs. They look great with my table and will enjoy using them for many years!

Very nice, sturdy chairs. Relatively easy to assemble. I ordered them unstained and have been staining them to match the table they are to go with. They look very nice. Yes, I would recommend these chairs.

Very nice sturdy chairs! I love how they look. Very simple design but they are great quality. By the way if you get unfinished make sure you are careful about wiping food or anything that gets in these chairs quickly. It’s hard to remove stains. I plan on putting on a clear coat later to help with this but for now I keep the chairs covered because I have kids, and accidents happen.

Sanding took a bit more effort than expected, but it was worth the effort in the end. These chairs seem sturdy enough, though the seats are not exceptionally wide so check with what size seat you want. They are great for my family, though, and seem like they will last a long time.

The construction is very good. Joints fit tight and everything lines up. Assembly is very simple. The sanded finish on some of the upper stiles was not the greatest. Doesn't show until after the stain is on. All in all they are very good chairs for the money.

Excellent, well built chairs. Easy to put together and are very sturdy once built. The instructions don’t call for it but we used wood glue as well as the hardware. The only issue is that I wish they were available in Canada as I had to order it from the USA and pick it up.

Bought four, unfinished chairs to go with a table that I made. Assembly was easy and instructions were nice. Stained them without the seat attached with Minwax pretreatment and Minwax Ipswich pine stain to match the similarly stained maple in the table. Worked out great!

We bought 8 chairs. everything looks good out of the box. Upon inspection, cuts for the mortise and tenon joints were not cut well, requiring me to file and sand them way undersized to get everything lined up. It only happened on 2 of the 8. Small cracks on 2 seats were repairable but irritating.

Overall, these chairs meet our objective and expectation. They are solidly made with solid connections. We purchased 12 chairs, and after the learning curve of the first one, the remainder were easy to assemble. We are using dark walnut stain. The finished result is a "farmhouse/primitive" look (my opinion). The wood has significant variations, but that works for us. With 3 coats of varathane over the dark stain, we were pleased with the results. Of the 12 chairs, one was incorrectly drilled so had to be returned, but Home Depot made the return simple and we just re-ordered one set. One "hint": stain the chairs before assembling or at least prior to fastening the seat. Assembling, staining and varnishing 12 chairs is a lot of work, but the final results have been satisfying.

Great little chairs

We have a really small tabke so these fut perfectly. The wood I pretty and smooth. They are very comfy. My only complaint would be the assembling part. Putting the seat on was difficult and hit or miss. Took a lot of muscle and then you could easily be off center.

Good quality chairs - very easy to assemble

I was very surprised with the quality and how easy they were to put together. They arrived in great condition and the instructions were very simple. My husband came home and tightened the screws on the seat which was the most difficult part. I didn't need anything more than a screwdriver. Hoping the stain will come out nice because I bought them to match a table we already had, but I can see why others have chosen not to stain them. Really great chairs for the price!

Great Quality Chairs

I was VERY impressed with the quality of these chairs. They are solid and look amazing with our heavy banquet table. They were very easy to assemble. I was able to stain them to match our table and they look like they cost 3x the price I paid. I would recommend these chairs to anyone who is willing to finish staining or painting them. We stained them dark walnut with classic gray on top and they look like they came right out of an expensive magazine! I LOVE them!

Well made, very sturdy

These chairs are very well made, solid wood and have a nice, large seat. The color is light. We did not stain them and just finished them with a clear coat. I think they would stain nicely though. The picture does not show it but there is a supporting cross bar between the bottom. My only complaint is that there were no pilot holes on the underside of the seat bottoms so you need to be careful attaching the seat to the legs so it is not off-center. Also, make sure the chair is level before attaching the seat. Overall, very pleased.
