The Perfect & Comfortable Ergonomic Chair!

I totally LOVE my new Ergonomic chair! I like that I can adjust the height and back of the chair to accommodate my individual requirements. The padded seat is very comfortable, since I work prolonged periods at an office desk. I highly recommend this product.

Very Small Chair

This chair is very small. I’m 6’2/ 220lbs and it’s extremely uncomfortable sitting in this chair for 8 hours a day. The seat depth is horrible, only going to 17.7”, which leaves 4-5” between the fully extended seat, to the back of my legs. This causes pain, which causes me to constantly shift around, trying to find comfort. The seat also feels like sitting on stone. I don’t think I’ve ever felt a seat this firm. This also makes for a long, uncomfortable 8 hours. Customer service was responsive, so I gave 2 stars for that.

Very small chair

This chair is very small. I’m 6’2/ 220lbs and just find this chair to be uncomfortable for this reason, so if you’re a taller person, this just isn’t going to work for you. I think my biggest complaint is the lack of seat depth. Even when fully extended to the 17.72”, there is still 4-5 inches of my leg hanging off, after the the depth reaches its max. This causes pain to the back of my leg, which causes me to constantly shift around, in an attempt to find relief. I did contact the company and they were very responsive, issuing a return label, but I ultimately decided that it was too much to take the chair home from work, break it down, then return it. I gave 2 stars for the helpful customer service.

Just okay. Maybe not worth the money.

The chair is squeaky after less than a month of use and even though the seat adjust it still feels shallow for me and I’m only 5’10ft tall.

Very comfortable

Bought 2 of these chairs, one for work and one for the home office. One of the chairs has issues with the back adjustment not working properly. It's stuck in one position. But I don't feel like dismantling and shipping the chair back so we will keep it. Otherwise the chairs are very comfortable and help with my back and neck issues. Actually buying another one for one of my employees who also has back problems.

Uncomfortable Seat.

Great lumber support but the seat sucks. I'm 6'3 275. I'm bottoming out on the seat. The memory foam material isn't dense enough or there isn't enough of it. The end of the seat also suffers from the same problem. Sitting it after a few hours and tail bone and thighs are sore.

This is a Vera good chair

Highly recommend this chair. The Mesh is tight and smooth, very supportive. The cushion is super thick and plush. As for casters, I always purchase my own rollerblade ones that I swap onto my chairs, but otherwise the casters this chair comes with are just fine. Overall construction of the chair is high quality. Definitely a great buy between $400-$500. The arm pads are a bit hard, but I always purchase wrap on arm chair cushions that fit any chair arms and it makes a world of a difference.

Very, very nice....

I was shopping for a chair in the 500 range, and didn't want to go refurb. However, I really wanted a chair with adjustable lumbar support and multiposition tilt lock. Unfortunately, finding a quality chair with these options in that range, isn't easy. I took a risk with the Vera, because it doesn't have adjustable lumbar, but this has to be the most comfortable backrest I've ever sat on. It is like a bouncy hammock that hugs your back from top to bottom. The seat is also very comfortable. It isn't as firm as the Steelcase Leap, it's somewhat bouncier, yet perfectly supportive over long hours of work. This chair....is....amazing, at any price.

Same chair at Staples

I just returned this chair back to the company as it didn't suit me. I went to Staples to see what they had since I'm having no luck finding a good chair online, as I was looking around I noticed a chair with the 3D type armrest but once I got close I notice it was the exact same chair as this one just under a different brand and name. The price for the chair is $299 on clearance. Check out their site the chair is under the name Union & Scale™ Workplace2.0™ Ayalon Ergonomic Fabric Swivel Task Chair, Black (UN51505). So now I have to change my initial rating from two stars to half a star.

Not worth the price and not for me

After researching and watching the BTOD youtube reviews I thought this chair was the right one without having to shell out $ 900 plus dollars for an office chair. I received the chair today and I am sending it back today. The chair I currently have was purchased from Staples a few years back and the hydraulic lift is starting to go out. I first made a mistake by buying a gaming chair and found out church pews were more comfortable. So researched more and thought this chair was a good match. and found several things that are dissatisfying on the chair.

Great chair! I have had

Great chair! I have had for about 3 weeks for my new work from home job and it is marvelous. The cushion is a good mix of firm and soft, the back support is noticeable but not too rigid, really gives with your body.

Don't buy

Quality is terrible. I may be an outlier but I went through 2+ shipments of chairs and still don't have a fully functional, undamaged chair. Waiting for them to come pick them all up because it can't even be disassembled to be shipped back. Two separate chairs came terribly damaged. Only saving grace is that it is relatively comfortable.

4 Stars

I have been using this chair for about a week at this point and so far I do really enjoy it. Assembly was very easy following the provided instructions. Everything that was supposed to be in the box was in the box. Pros: Back support. If that is something you are looking for specifically in an office chair I would strongly consider this chair. Seat is comfortable. It's right in that Goldilox zone for me, not too hard and not too soft. I can sit in the chair for several hours with no problem. Adjustability. You can adjust the seat depth, seat height (large range up and down which is very nice), arm height, arm rest position (front and back as well as rotating side to side), and tilt. Though there are some cons with this I will mention. Cons: Back support isn't adjustable. Some office chairs have adjustable lumbar support, this chair does not. Not a problem for me specifically, but it may be for others. Adjustable arm rests are a little flimsy for my tastes. It's very easy to accidentally rotate the arm rest position without meaning to. The chair reclines a little too easy in my opinion. I would prefer to have to push just a little more to start the seat reclining. I keep the chair locked upright to avoid this. I can hear a noise when moving the chair forward. It sounds like the back of the chair is moving/rubbing on the seat base. It could be I haven't tightened the screws enough, and it's not a huge deal but it is noticeable. For reference I am 5' 11" and about 190 lbs.

A fantastic chair with a few caveats

I bought this chair after watching a ton of BTOD reviews on youtube, and overall I'm super happy with it. Coming from a Secretlabs Omega, having actual ergonomics is great. The back being pure mesh with no dedicated lumbar was a huge draw for me, because many chairs I've tried with that have felt like a plank in the lower back. The chair cushion is very comfy, and the recline is super smooth. My two biggest issues are the armrests and the headrest. The armrest pads are super hard plastic and can really hurt to lean on for too long. They are very adjustable, but also take very little effort to move, which causes them to get shifted inadvertently when I move against them or lean on them to stand up. The headrest is nice to have when I recline, but it has no adjustability, and the foam is very thin, so it's not the comfiest. Overall, I'm happy with the chair and would recommend it for the price, but if the armrests were padded it would be a S tier chair for sure.

Great chair at half the price of “the” designer chair.

Shipping was fast. The only reason I removed a star was that the box was not taped well. Screws fell out at my house, which I found, but it could have been in transit. Assembly was easy. Chair feels sturdy. It looks like a high end office chair. The cushion is comfortable and the mesh back is very supportive. Less than half the price of a Herman Miller Aero and 90% as comfortable. I am sold.
