[Rewarded Review] Generic

Smells like the most generic scented candle out there. It does look and crackle like a fireplace - but this is the case with all Ellipsis WoodWick candles. The smell is very mediocre. I recomend any different Ellipsis WoodWick candle - it will look and sound the same but smell better.

This one didn’t burn well at all…. No idea why as all others have been great. It’s a strong fragrance which I need as I’ve very large rooms . This one would be a little too powerful for room less than 15x15metre square room though…..

[Rewarded Review] Room Filling Fragrance!

I haven’t shopped at Yankee Candle in several years and decided to pop in to a local store one day. I discovered this collection and fell in love. Fireside smells AMAZING! I placed this candle in my master suite and within minutes my master suite, family room and kitchen were filled with the fragrance. The fragrance makes you want a cup of hot cocoa, and to sit by a fireplace. The only downside to this candle is, the wax does not last long. Most likely it’s due to how big the wick is. So be prepared to stock up.

While there are several scents to choose from.... why bother? this by far is the best. Always receive compliments when this is lit. I have repeatedly purchased this candle and have been satisfied each time. Smell no further..... this is "the one!" :)

[Rewarded Review] Great Scent with Woodwick Candles

I love the Woodwick Fireside crackling Candles! They smell sooo Good! I just wish they weren't so EXPENSIVE! Also I have a hard time finding the Ribbonwick Candles in this Scent! The straight Wicks are plentiful but I prefer the squiggly ribbon Wicks! Those crackle more and you can hear the crackle better than the straight Wicks!

[Rewarded Review] Great Scent, Amazing Flame, Burns Too Fast!

The Wood Wick candles are all worth the investment because they are made high quality. The crackle is definitely like being next to a fireplace and the throw of the fragrance is wide range. I would recommend this candle for events or to entertain because it definitely has a WOW factor with the way the flame burns. Because of the way the flame burns, the candle wax doesn't last as long on the Ellipse Wood Wick. If you are like me and burn the candle for a long period of time without blowing the flame out, and you're buying it for longevity, I would recommend the Pillar style Wood Wick instead of the Ellipse Wood Wick candles because they will burn for days and will last for the value of the price paid.

I ordered 2 discounted Hearthside Trilogy candles end of Jan. Two days before anticipated delivery, I got an email saying they were out--no solution or substitution! My disappointment prompted me to email YC, and Alyssa helped me out greatly! She was kind, polite and offered a substitution AT THE SAME PRICE. I was thrilled! I chose Fireside and Warm Woods Trilogy, both are wonderful woodsy scents that I craved. THANK YOU SO MUCH ALYSSA, for your great customer service with me!!!

[Rewarded Review] Surprisingly pleasant scent, no crackle though

I expected the candle to crackle and pop, and so far the best it has done is that "whoosing" noise of a strong fire, but at least it offers some ambience over a normal candle. The flame flickered very fast at the beginning, almost anxiety inducing, but settled down as the evening wore on. The scent is a real winner, I hate flowery scents in general, but this only has a hint of flowers (like a party where someone is wearing perfume, but you're not sure who) and a base of woods (but more like being in the woods and not the intense smell of a Xmas tree indoors) and a hint of something smoked (but less smoke and more singed marshmallows). I am in love with the scent and will end up buying another soon.

Simply Superb!

Absolutely LOVE this candle. It’s like a mini fireplace. The smell is wonderful as well, almost like you’re beside a real fire, obviously an artificial scent though, but even so, it smells AMAZING. The crackling and the flame are so soothing. I like to light this candle about an hour or two before I plan on falling asleep or if I can’t sleep and it never fails to get me calmed down and sleepy! By the time I blow it out, I’m ready for a good nights rest! It also adds such a cozy feel to my bedroom. Will DEFINITELY be buying another one for myself, my friends, cousin, mom, grandma, and the whole fam that’s how amazing this candle is!!

I got this candle as a gift from my mom after my dad passed away this year. My home had felt so empty and I knew we had to turn to Yankee to find the perfect scent to bring it back to life. My mom chose this Fireside Woodwick and it quickly became a necessity each day and night that I had to have lit. It has truly transformed my house into this haven of warmth and comfort with a little bit of bonfire spices. I assumed being called fireside that it would smell strictly like a bonfire but there’s actually more layers to it than just that. The combination of the silky musk, earthy vetiver and smoky amber is the magical trio to solve all scent filled problems. Light this candle and your home will become the coziest and comfiest place on earth! It’s entirely a year round candle that I’ve had now throughout summer taking us directly into fall and winter. I hope you never retire this fragrance simply because it’s the best. This scent is a stand out and I will be purchasing for Christmas for quite a few people this year to continue to spread its warmth. I just can’t thank you enough for creating this unique and one of a kind candle! You have a forever customer in me!

[Rewarded Review] One of my favorites!

I have been burning this candle for as long as I can remember. My first love of woodwick was the Woodland fragrance (now retired, maybe one day they will bring it back), but the fireside is a close second. It is such a beautiful fragrance that makes your house feel warm and inviting. I love the size and weight of these candles. They are heavy, thick glass and look very elegant. The throw they give is also amazing. The throw on these is better than the regular large candles (more pooled wax when burning), but they don’t last as long. They are pretty expensive, so I stock up when they run sales. Please don’t ever discontinue this fragrance. It will break a lot of hearts.

I am so thrilled with this candle! I work midnights in an extremely stressful job, so having something that helps me relax is a must - and this candle is a must! The scent is just like the fires my grandparents used to have in their fireplaces and the soft crackling of the wood wick just brings it all home. It reminds me of those wonderful childhood memories of family and everyone gathered in the living room. It's also absolutely perfect for those snow storms we know we're going to get. This is the next best thing to having a fireplace for those cold, snowy evenings when you can hear the wind outside - just snuggle into a warm blanket and light this candle. Winter nights don't get much better.
