Zero customer support

I ordered a woodwick candle on Dec 24, when it had not arrived a week after the delivery date I checked the tracking number. The candle was damaged at the FedEx depot (FedEx is far from what it once was). I contacted Yankee Candle and got a canned reply. After several calls, I was told the candle is not in stock. This was 3 weeks after I ordered. I had only one question, WHEN WAS YANKEE CANDLE GOING TO TELL ME MY ITEM WAS DESTROYED? No response, nada, nothing. Glad there are other companies out there. Sadly, after 35 years of bringing my kids and grandkids to the Deerfield store, I can't support a company that doesn't give a crap about customer service. One call vs me posting this on my Facebook acct with 1263 "friends" in New England.

Candle

The new Fireside smells awesome, thankfully not the smoky, earthy scent I recall from the original Fireside. The old scent really burned the nose. The addition of the woodwick wick wick wick is pretty neat. Overall, an amazing experience that should be felt by all!

Aside from the wonderful crackling sound from the wood wick on this candle, it had a rich, non sweet aroma that is woodsy, cozy, and inviting.

I just finished a jar I purchased over a year ago. Found that after producing a nice pool of wax and then extinguishing the candle, the scent continues to permeate throughout for hours.
