I am in the middle of a massive home renovation and been looking for tiles. I am overwhelmed with the choices. These tiles are exactly what I am looking for as my accent pieces - so now I know which tiles to pick for the rest of the project. The smoothness and variation is exceptional.

[Rewarded Review] Very attractive tile for a backsplash

I am using this tile for the backsplash in my kitchen. I put in a new butcherblock counter and this will work well with it. It is a natural product with consistent coloring and fine markings. I am used to working with ceramic tile and found that this marble tile is a little harder to cut with my masonry wheel on the angle grinder. You can see in the detail that it chipped a bit, but not too bad.

[Rewarded Review] Dislike pencil-like markings

From afar, these Honed Marble tiles have a wood-grain-like pattern on the surface. I may have missed something in the tile description, but I'm pretty sure that natural marble doesn't have this pattern and therefore am assuming that this is what I know to be cultured marble. The surface is nice, a smooth, matte finish that looks quite natural. However, honed marble is supposedly more porous than polished, therefore using these as a floor tile doesn't make sense to me. What I dislike the most is that many of the tiles have markings on them that look like pencil marks. Whether or not these are intentional, or I received scratched tiles, I do not know. Additionally, I received a cracked tile that has a red line on the back (possibly marked as defective?).

[Rewarded Review] Quality marble tile

I got this tile for laser engraving. The tile surface is honed to a smooth semi-gloss finish which is ideal for engraving. The edges of the tile are cut square and not chamfered. The color of the tile appears to be consistent across the 15 pieces in the box. The tiles are about a quarter inch thick and polished on one side and on the edges, the back is unfinished and has saw marks on it for better adhesion.
