My make up mirror's on-off switch was acting up, and since it was expensive to replace, I didn't want to buy a new one. This works perfectly. I can turn on and off the mirror without using its switch. I leave it in the "on" position, and just us the remote switch. Just what I needed.

I have a small floor fan that I use in my patio located in my entertainment center. The Outdoor Plug In Wireless Remote works great when ever I need to cool off without having to reach around to turn on or off the fan.

Purchased 2 ( on different frequencies ) for a courtyard water feature with pump and separate LED lights. Able to turn on or off one, the other or both from inside the house. Only rated at 4 as they are new and no history over time.

It works inside! I don't know what it does outside, but the switch in my tv went out and a remote wouldn't turn it on. I plugged it into this and I can switch my tv on and off again without getting up. The device is plugged into two daisy chained surge protectors, and all is good.
