Gorgeous rug!

Gorgeous! Perfect tone of rich red and nice thick pile. It does shed a bit but I've o my had it out a few weeks. It too bad, and pretty sure that will ease up.

Thick & plush. Phenomenal quality. Hand tufted is always the way to go. Great BOLD COLORS. Fantastic design to go with a versatile deco. Soft to touch and on feet. One of my favorite Overstock rugs purchased to date!!! Must HAVE.

100% Pleased on First Day of Ownership

Dense pile. Traditional look yet somehow different than the usual Persian style. Looks just like it did on my monitor. How could this possibly make me mad?

Buyer's remorse; looks like a bound carpet remnant

3.5 stars ...There is a lot to like about this rug. It's wool is soft, the rug has a cushy feel and seems well made, and the colors are rich and pretty --- including a deep brick red which was the background color I wanted. We've placed it under our kitchen table to protect our new wood floors, because that's why we bought it. HOWEVER, it will be moved some place else soon because unexpectedly, the rug's bold repeating pattern and saturated colors makes our small kitchen feel even more closed in, which was not our goal. That's my mistake - I didn't want a rug that looked too fussy so that it detracted from our beautiful table and chairs, so I gravitated towards ones with a simple pattern. However, this rug's pattern seems to swallow up the rest of the room. I think it's the combination of the design symmetry and the dark rich color which overwhelms my furniture instead of complimenting it. Also, there is a real "commercial" feel about the rug that I don't like (and didn't notice when I was picking it out). The rug looks like it should be the carpeting in the lobby of a nice hotel, as opposed to looking like an "oriental style" rug with some character. The rug gets 4 stars for quality, etc., though please note I've only had a few days so can't comment on fuzz or wear. I do predict, however, that on this rug dirt will easily be seen.
