Fits perfectly l!

I love how this fits. I'm 5f4" about 120 lbs and this robe fits perfectly! I bought the regular and petite version so see which one fit better. The sleeves on this one fits better and it dries me up quickly. Overall soft but some may say "it could be softer" happy with my purchase.

A spa in your own home

I love my spa robe! The petite is perfect for my 5ft 2 inches. It is thick enough to be warm and absorbent, but not real heavy. The shawl collar comes high around the neck and it wraps nicely and stays closed. Like a giant hug when you come out of the shower!

Great pool robe!

Was purchased as a gift for a petite 5'3 and 135lb person for getting out of the swimming pool. Bought the size medium and it was absolutely a perfect fit! Thank goodness a few companies still make petites. Sleeves were the perfect length too. Terry was a nice weight and thickness and soft.

Nice warm robe though a little boxy

Like this robe though the terry cloth is not like what I've had previously (loops are not cut, so fabric is smoother). Sleeves are thick at the wrist because the hem is deep, but you can still fold them back. Minor cons: the cut is boxy, emphasized by the patch pockets; there is no interior tie, so you're dependent on the thick fabric outside tie. But overall good value and comfy warm.

Laundry concern

The petite medium fits perfectly right now. But I'm afraid after it shrinks during the first wash it might be too small. The fabric weight is good, it's not too heavy. The rope-like pattern of the terrycloth I think would be more durable than some other styles. The length is just right for a 5'3" frame. However, for the price I paid I would be very disappointed if it becomes too small after washing. So sadly this robe will probably get returned.

OK if no alternative for plus sizes

It's really hard for bigger plus size women to find cotton towelling robes in feminine cut to fit (it's an image issue as they're now associated with 'wellness' spas in posh hotels, where we're not welcome). Although fabric is not really towelling - it's candlewick, which used to be used for bedspreads - the cut is not unflattering and you will not look like a bedstead! While not small, robe is a bit close fitting for the size; and to prevent 'gape' when sitting unclothed, there really should be dressing gown ties inside instead of cost cutting. I'd sew them in.
