Purchased three of these candles. The scent is horrible. I just wasted my money Doesn’t make my house smell good in any way. One of the worst scents ever created.

Not your normal Yankee Gourmand.

So I thought I’d give an honest review as someone who actually bought this candle and didn’t receive it for free. This candle is definitely different than anything yankee has put out when it comes to their gourmands. I love their bakery scented candles but I think they overlap waaay too much. If it’s got cookie or vanilla in it then it’s prob gonna smell very similar. This smells like baked goods without using vanilla as the main note. I would say the raspberry comes very forward and then comes the baked part comes in. I think it’s more butter forward and I think that’s what makes it unusual for yankee, think of a buttery croissant. Also the raspberry isn’t too sweet or tart. It’s like you took a croissant and put hot butter and raspberry jam on it. That’s the way I would sum it up. Also, I noticed on cold smell the butter is more forward and the raspberry takes a back seat, however, when burning it’s the opposite. I commend Yankee on doing something different. Please now do a good chocolate. That chocolate cake isn’t cutting it.

Smelled good in the jar like a chocolate fruity buttery pastry but has absolutely no throw, can’t even smell it up close in a small bedroom as it burns

I was happy to see this was available in other products! It has a nice raspberry scent with notes that remind you of walking in a bakery.

A Little Disappointed

Recently received and I was really excited about it. The scent just wasn’t what I imagined based off of the profile, nor in my opinion is it very good. The candle is not very strong and just not the best of the options in the new collections!

I love this candle! It burns well and evenly, rather than just down the middle. The scent is perfectly autumnal! It reminds me of baking in the autumn days with my grandmother. Delicious! I like lighting it after cleaning my home to give it that nice, cozy, homey scent.

No scent just fire smell

Pretty strong candle. This shipped to me very secure and didn’t break. This candle burns forever so you’ll definitely get your money worth. This particular sense is holiday-Ish. It’s a little too food like versus a holiday scent that I would prefer, but outside of that the candle is really great.

This is a really fantastic candle. I love the scent. It’s fairly strong. I can smell it throughout my kitchen and living room which is open concept. It took maybe 20-30 mins of burning before I smelled the candle. I primarily smell raspberries and a bakery/pastry smell. I really enjoy it. These candles have such a long burn time and minimal spot production. Yankee candles are always quality. The glass jar is nice and the wax is a pretty pinkish color.

First off, I love my Yankee products. The scents are long lasting. Now I'm not sure if Parisian smells this way, but I will tell you what I think it smells like. This scent that is reminiscent of my childhood; I'm 60! It reminds me of some pipe tobacco or a cigar, but in a good way. It has this sweet spicy smell of years gone by. Nothing like I currently have in my Yankee collection. I would buy it.

This huge candle smells so pleasant and yet so delicious at the same time. It’s a crowd pleasure for sure and lasts so long in the living room. It’s a wonderful candle and a lovely gourmand type of scent.
