Decent for the price

This is a really great deal on a pet trailer. Its significantly more affordable than one from REI or a bike shop. That being said you can understand that some of the materials are medium quality. The mesh on the front is really thin and my dog has scratched it already with his nails. The wheels are plastic and I have my fingers crossed they hold up. Luckily I have a small dog so I don't have any weight or size issues. Id love to have my dog ride with the top open like in the picture but I can't seem to get him to sit still.

Easy to put together, sturdy, built in safety belt, and color is just as pictured. Too roomy for my pup, but will definitely do the job.

Perfect size for a corgi! Easy to set up and pulls great! Don’t try to stuff your German Shepard in it tho!

TRAILER FLIPPED OVER ON A STRAIGHT ROAD

I researched for months about what trailer to buy to pull behind my ebike with my puppy. The Retrospec trailer was easy enough to assemble following a YouTube video. I was so excited to get out with my pup yesterday, but within less than one half block from my house, the trailer flipped. Fortunately, I was going slow and keeping an eye on it and no car was behind us. I called the manufacturer and sent requested photos of how the trailer was hooked up. No one could venture a guess as to why the trailer flipped. My pup is well under the maximum weight. The asphalt road was smooth. I didn't make any turns. It's a complete mystery. Chewy is refunding me. I boxed up the trailer and shipped it back today. I have no idea what to replace it with that will be safe for my pup. All I can figure is that she was moving inside the trailer, which I expect a dog to do and I need movement not to be reason a trailer would flip over. Had I been going 15 mph or more, there might have had a much worse outcome. I feel lucky that my puppy wasn't injured. I don't know how she will feel to get back in another trailer though. This is all so disappointing and frustrating, and I'm left with no anwers. I would definitely NOT buy this trailer again. The manufacturer told me to check with a local bike shop and see what they carry. I wish the company would have said they will investigate and try to determine what happened. It was assembled correctly and attached to my bike correctly. Not knowing why it flipped is aggravating.

Item turned up, assembly easy, one tire flat had hole in tube... was told to return item but item is currently out of stock.... now gotta go buy new tube

This trailer is exactly what I was looking for. My two maltipoos love riding around with me in a much safer option than a basket on the handlebars. Easy to attach & I don’t even notice the extra weight I’m pulling while riding. So glad I found this on Chewy!!

I have 3 small chihuahuas (12lbs total) and they fit perfectly in it. Easy set up and easy to detach and attach to bike. I have a cruiser bike. It’s not heavy to pull. I just take it around the neighborhoods and it never tips over. I would recommend this to anyone looking to take their dogs out with them.

Light and comfortable

It was easy to put together and attach to the bike. My dog is only 27 pounds and a basket is too small for him and this attachment might be too big but it is comfortable enough for him to enjoy the ride with us.

Have used it for several days and it works great! Dog seems to enjoy it and can't wait to arrive at the dog park.

Looove this trailer

My dog loves the ride. It's super comfy and cute. She is a mini schnauzer so has lots of space. Def great for small or large dogs.

Great little trailer! I did have to buy an axle from the Robert axle project to adapt it for my bike so that was an unexpected added expense and some extra effort. I like that it folds down when I’m not using it to save space in the garage. The floor is hard and slippery so I added cushion to make it more comfortable for my dog.

Love this trailer! I was, maybe, a bit disappointed in the color. Online it really looked like it was the same color as the retrospec bike I have, but oh well. Seems sturdy, to work as it should. My dog is so stinkin' cute in it!
