Overall I like this faucet. Love the triple spray feature and laminar flow. Build quality is a mixed bag of great and not so great. Hoses are braided, but not stainless steel; has plastic fittings. The finish of the handle is slightly different than the neck which is my biggest complaint. Love the feel of the handle movement. It's very solid and feels high quality. The written instructions that come in the box are not very helpful, but Grohe has youtube videos that made installation very easy for us. Time will tell how this faucet will hold up.

This faucet is ridiculously complex to put together. We have installed many touch faucets, but this is both painfully tedious with nontraditional steps and its directions are horrendous. And, touch barely works. I have had far better touch performance from faucets that cost 1/4 the price. Yes, this is brass and steel, but the lack of workable touch after going through a painful installation is unacceptable. We have adjusted the senstivity for touch and still ran into problems. If I touch it, it wont go on, but if I literally WALK BY the sink, it goes on - but there's no motion detector. If i lean on the sink it goes on and then off again right way. We've adjusted this setting over and over - it's stunningly unpredictable. It doesn't have automatic shut off. Every other touch faucet we have owned has turned off after a minute or so. We're returning it because of the lack of its main feature to us - touch!

This is by far one of the nicest faucets for your kitchen. The Supersteel finish has an extremely elegant and luxurious look and feel. The sprayer is large and fits in your hand really well. The faucet comes with very easy reading instructions. Due to the complexity of the faucet itself, there are a few extra parts that are packaged very carefully! The sprayer has essentially three different patterns that are very easy to change between. Especially with the size of the sprayer. It fits in your hand perfectly. The touch activation works amazing. Definitely an amazing faucet!! A+

Unless the slip nut is perfectly aligned it will... er... slip. It will act as if it is stripped... when in fact it is just that the plastic threads on the inside are not all on the same level. If the surface on the underside of the sink is irregular for some reason, like mine was, it is a bear to get the threads to align and give a good solid tightening. Don't give up... just try a few times by backing the nut off a bit and then proceeding with the idea that it has to remain as if on the same plane as the underside of the faucet above. I hope this helps someone who, like me, has thoughts of going "Office Space" on this faucet. It is now in place, looks nice, and works well. It is solid, to say the least, like all Grohe faucets. But seriously the instructions could be more informative. And WHY doesn't every manufacturer have a quick installation video for all of their products?

GROHE Ladylux L2 Touch Single-Handle Pull-Out Sprayer Kitchen Faucet with Touch Activation in SuperSteel Infinity Finish is a very impressive addition to any kitchen. Grohe is known for offering great products but this one is a real accomplishment. The Ladylux is sleek and very modern looking, this faucet is solid steel and has no plastic. The touch activation is such a convenient feature and will be appreciated by every member of the family. I had the faucet installed by a licensed plumber. It seemed to be quite an undertaking. His response to the installation was that it needed more comprehensive instructions. He went to great length to make all the necessary removal with the old faucet before starting. He did layout all the parts before he started but it seemed that did little to help when he was under the sink. Once it was installed both he and I were more than satisfied with the workings of the faucet. I have not had a touch faucet before but can now attest to REALLY liking it. The expense of the faucet is higher than most but one has to keep in mind the longevity of a faucet this solid.

After spending a few days with our son who just got this Grohe touch faucet installed in his kitchen, I really wanted one for our kitchen. The touch feature is awesome. He had a plumber install his faucet and we are waiting for a plumber to be available to install ours. The things I love about this faucet are the ease of turning it on and off with a touch, the water pressure and the three spray options. The style is sleek and the SuperSteel infinity finish works perfectly with stainless steel appliances and brushed nickel hardware. The pull-out hose is super long so you can reach in and around everything you are washing. We have products from Grohe in our house (e.g. the Grohe sense guard water security system is fantastic) and the quality makes them worth the investment.

My family and I are highly satisfied with this facet. Beautiful finish and easy to use. The faucet was packaged very well and free of blemishes on the finish. My wife loves the touch option that allows us to turn the water on and off without using the lever. We can also let the kids turn the water 9n and off without them getting scolded which is a nice feature, too. We have several Grohe plumbing fixtures and all of them are great quality and expect to last a long time.

Come into the 21st century with this high tech contemporary kitchen faucet. The brushed finish is lovely, the design sleek and easy to clean. It comes with everything you need for installation but the plumber. This installation is not for the untrained, hire a pro and save the headache. The touch activation is perfect when your hands are really dirty. The sprayer head is plastic so longevity is a concern. A great update to any kitchen sink.

The quality of this faucet is second to none. We had recently installed it and after the faucet was in, we uninstalled it to purchase a new countertop as it was too nice to use as just an update. It's heavy and made for a serious kitchen. The instructions it came with are very detailed, and thorough as it's not a simple basic installation that I was use to. The sensor box needs mounting under the counter in the cabinet and the easy access as it does require a battery to work. The finish is smooth and matches the brushes nickel knobs on the kitchen nicely. Again, multiple parts involved in the install than the regular faucet.

GROHE Ladylux L2 Touch Single-Handle Pull-Out Sprayer Kitchen Faucet with Touch Activation in SuperSteel Infinity Finish. After initial setup with default touch sensitivity in the humid south (Houston, TX). The touch works as you grab the sprayer and off as you put if back. The blade superspray is great for cleaning dishes. The only thing I wish it did was allow you to adjust the temperature on the 'touch activation' you have to preset the temperature for touch and it is completely unrelated to the setting of the handle. I have ours present at about 102 degrees so good for most general use except drinking. Quite a few connections going on underneath the sink. The install is pretty straightforward if you like pictorial instructions.

Excellent combination of attractive design and quality engineering. Constructed of stainless steel and brass except for the plastic spray head. Flared shape makes the spray head easy to grasp and pull down; magnet provides secure retention when retracted. Triple function head delivers choice of stream, spray, or high pressure blade flow for rinsing away food remnants. SuperSteel Infinity matte finish matches appearance of stainless appliances and reduces visibility of water spots. Flow rate of 1.75 gpm meets California and WaterSense conservation requirements. Touch activated ON/OFF is convenient during food prep and when washing dishes by hand. The touch sensing mechanism includes battery, wires, solenoid, and filter—all located beneath the sink. Wiring adds time and complexity to the installation process. The battery requires periodic replacement, which entails reaching beneath the sink. Other faucet manufacturers let customers avoid this exercise by offering optional AC power adapters. Limited lifetime warranty for original buyer. Save or scan the purchase receipt. Look elsewhere if low price is a priority. Grohe offers solid quality construction.
