Oven never worked--temperature sensor

We bought a new build which had this oven in it (tag on it, blue plastic inside, etc.). The oven never worked--the preheat light was broken and the temperature just continued rising when the oven was on. Was told that the part to fix it is unavailable and the company won't honor a warranty because the builder bought the oven--even though it was brand new. I would never recommend working with this company.

Replacement of recalled stove is also bad

We recently got a brand new SGR36 after our original was recalled. We’ve had it a little over a month & can’t use our oven w out a strong smell. We thought it was because it was brand new but we had the gas co out yesterday and they confirmed that we had a leak. We paid a plumber to come out & make sure the oven was connected safely/ correctly. Turned on oven tonight - the smell is back. We’ve been dealing with unexplained headaches, weakness and fatigue for a month. This oven isn’t safe either

DANGEROUS

Do not be fooled by the way these stoves look. Zline has sent out warnings to us two years in a row due to the stove leaking carbon monoxide. We have suffered the symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning multiple times. Headaches, nausea and weakness. Zline simply keep replacing the parts or stoves with more faulty parts and stoves. Save yourself the health, money and hassle and buy a different brand. I’m so disappointed in Home Depot who continue to sell these life threatening stoves.

Fits perfectly!

Let me start by saying that I had some very specific requirements for my existing space, so that kind of narrowed down my options as to what ranges were available to me. I needed a range that would fit into the existing space over my Quartz countertops (the cutout was made specifically for my old oven). So fit was an issue. This ZLINE totally fit the bill. That said, I am very pleased with this range in all respects. This range looks terrific. It's beautiful. Great oven. Kind of pricey, but you get what you pay for

A Better Stove

I had another brand of stove, but it never kept temperature in the oven. I love to cook and make some elaborate or delicate dishes that require a consistent temperature. I decided that I needed another stove which would maintain the oven temperature. I started looking for stoves that had consistent oven temperature as a primary feature as well as a dependable in terms of repairs and maintenance. I also had a budget limit, and when I foound the Zline, I knew that I had found the stove. I have had the stove for three months now, and I am so happy with the product. My pies, biscuits and terrines have turned out beautifully at the accurate temperatures. I couldn't be happier with this stove!

Perfection

I have only had this range for a few weeks and am absolutely thrilled with the performance. Cooking is a passion of mine and have braised, baked, fried and saute'd so far without issues. High output with even flames provide the right cooking experience. I have previously owned LG and GE ranges, they cannot compare to the ZLINE. Due to the layout of my kitchen I did not think I could ever have a high-end range like this. This is true old style cooking which I really enjoy. No overly gross electronics. I use an oven thermometer that has been spot on with the selected. Truly happy!

Sleek and elegant

We have received this ZLINE range from Premium Home Source over a month ago. I wanted to hold off with the review until I was able to say that I have used this appliance to its full potential and can honestly review the features it provides.

Professional grade

I wanted a clean, professional grade range, but did not want to shell out the 10-15k that some of the companies wanted. I had not ever had or used a ZLine appliance, but after reading reviews I decided to give them a try in our newly renovated kitchen.

Pro Cooking Experience!

I am a professional chef and bought this for my home. Her name is Big Bertha. I chose this range over even the super high end ranges. I have no regrets. Shes beautiful on the eyes and works like a dream. Dont spend your money on anything more, this will do the trick with no trouble! UPDATE: Ive been using this range now for 8 months and love her more every day! I bought a nonstick grill/griddle pan that I use on the middle burners for steaks, veggies, pancakes and everything! Love that I can pop the grill pan in the dishwasher and not have to scrub a permanent griddle. Plus the grill pan can go away and I have 6 burners again. This range is true heat, bakes great and out performs my professional model at work. Great purchase!!

Beautiful and Practical

Wow!! This range changed my life (and my kitchen)! I feel like a kid with a new toy, lol! First of all, it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and is definitely the focal point of the room but it also cooks so much better than what we used before (built in electric cooktop). This is my first experience with gas cooking and so far I honestly think the food tastes better! On the stove top there are specific burners for different needs (high BTU, simmer...) and in the oven the racks slide out and adjust effortlessly. I am really excited to spend more time learning about and playing with this great appliance!

Simple and practical wonderful oven/ range

My husband and I purchased the Zline 36" gas on gas oven range with convection oven exactly one year ago. I waited to write a review so I could get a lot of use from it first. I absolutely LOVE cooking and baking with this!! It's simple to use without a lot of bells and whistles and bakes to perfection! I love the Italian burners with the extra hot burner. We have cooked and baked some amazing meals. I've also used the wok ring and griddle a lot. I would highly recommend to anyone! Looks great and works great without the expensive price tag of a Dacor, Wolfe, etc.bb

Very good product, great value! Happy with our choice

We got this as part of our kitchen remodel. I love cooking and always wanted a professional style range. Unfortunately, the usually cost a fortune and after a lot of searching I came across Zline. I did a lot of research and decided to give it a chance. It is just as beautiful in person as the $$$ ranges. My contractor was very impressed with the look and quality of the range and hood. These cant be beat for the cost. My only complaint would be the oven seems to have hot spots. I dont do a ton of baking, so not a huge issue for me but it would be something to consider if you bake a lot.

I have been comparing and checking prices and reviews of 36" 6 burner gas ranges for several years. I've had this range for about a month. This range suits me fine. It gives me all of the features I wanted at a decent price. So far, everything has worked fantastically. The shelves glide in and out so easily and the top is easy to clean. The burners are sized perfectly. The only negatives are that the Owner's manual didn't explain the function of the fan button very well. I have a message in to Zline about that the the dark spot left on the door from a large sticker. That would have worked better in a plastic sleeve and laid on top or hung from the door handle. I'm hoping that will come off.

Incredible Value and Excellent Customer Service

We purchased this after seeing a ZLINE Range in a friend's kitchen. It shipped quickly and was delivered in meticulous, high-quality packaging. The conversion to LP gas was simple and the flame adjustment is also very simple. The burners have impressive modulation and can be set very low for simmering or slow cooking and dial up more incrementally than the competition. Finally, the unit has an handsome appearance, is sturdy, and well-built. We had to communicate with ZLINE to troubleshoot one minor question respecting the flame, but ultimately, it was an air quality issue resulting from the humidifier in the baby's nursery. A real person answered the phone quickly, was very helpful and patient in exploring all possibilities, and treated us with kindness. Bravo! If the unit performs well over the long-term (which we expect it will), we will be lifetime customers.

Sturdy, attractive, and works so well!

This is a miracle appliance! I did not think I could have a professional looking range for less than $8,000-10,000, but holy smokes this ZLINE has blown me away. A fraction of the price of my friend's commercial range, and it looks just as nice and performs like you wouldn't believe. I am so over the moon thrilled and can't wait to go home and make dinner every day. Sunday brunches and Saturday morning breakfasts are my favorite parts of the week now. I definitely recommend adding the reversible griddle- I did have to call and order it since I had trouble finding it online. Makes pancakes, tortillas, and grilling easy. I feel like an at-home professional chef, and my excitement for creating amazing food has not diminished since I added this range to my kitchen. House guests have also commented on how user friendly it is, and how easy the controls are to operate. Super solid construction. I also called customer service with installation questions, and they answered with a REAL PERSON almost immediately, and made me feel totally confident about getting this thing installed. Don't think twice- please buy this if you're on the fence. I'll sing it's praises to anybody who will listen!

Amazing Range! So easy to convert to propane!

Never heard of Z-Line but thought I would try the 36" Dual Fuel six burner range. The range was delivered to my home. I live on a ranch in central Missouri. Getting a delivery here is a challenge. 5 Stars for Delivery. Packaging was outstanding. Well Protected, reinforced cardboard box on a crate, with multiple ty-downs to insure it would not go anywhere. Another 5 Stars for Packaging. Documentation is the best I have seen. Since we have propane and the unit is shipped for natural gas, we had to make the conversion ourselves. Absolutely a piece of cake! Easy to follow instructions, some very basic tools and you are good to go. 5 stars for the documentation. Quality of construction was surprising. This range is better built and has some really desirable features that are not found on other commercial ranges having four times the price. Quality gets 5 stars as well. What more can you ask for? Truly a great product. Go to their website and check out their microwave. This is my next purchase.
