Absolutely Love This

We bought this almost a year ago and it has been used daily! I absolutely love it! The space is amazing, I have so may burners that I can make anything that I need to for any of our get togethers, Parties, and our many family holiday meals.

Failed Too Soon, Little Help From Customer Service

I purchased this range 3 years ago. The large oven never made temp, hovering always about 50 degrees lower than its setting. Recently, the smaller oven stopped working altogether and the electric igniters for the cooktop became wonky, sometimes working and sometimes not. Z Line's customer service was frustrating and, ultimately, of little help. They made repeated demands for information that had either already been provided or which was not relevant to the inquiry. Ultimately, they failed to diagnose the problem but they did send me replacement hinges for the large oven door which they said were sent as a courtesy. Later, I learned that these hinges were known to be defective and are being replaced whenever someone complains. Finding a service tech willing to work on Z Line was a challenge. Finally found one who then explained that Z Line won't share information willingly and requires the customer to order replacement parts, which I've now done (the tech believes the problem is a defective thermostat and I'm hoping that proves true). In all, the product failed in a fundamental way in a short amount of time and Z Line was difficult and ultimately of limited utility in addressing the problem. I would not buy from Z Line again and, if I could do it over, would pay extra for a more expensive brand from a local vendor who would service it.

Two words - massive and hot.

Two words - massive and hot. This is the biggest and possibly the heaviest cooking range we've had. The burners are also extremely durable. I read it's Italian-made and from the toughest brass grade so I'm not surprised it can produce such powerful and clean flames. But sometimes, I feel like it's too hot and I can't get the flames to go down to simmer. Well, that's a good thing in many ways for sure.

Efficiently desighned

We purchased this stove just over a week ago and it replaced a stove that was some 35 years old. The transition was very easy and the design and layout of features very common sense. Easy to clean. It has renewed our interest to trying new receipts and added fun in cooking.
