Crown molding speakers

Zline is an excellent customer service company. This particular product needed some modification to fit my range hood. Once the mods (internal) were done the fit and finish suffered a little. And the speakers couldn’t handle a large volume. They some what vibrated against the metal molding. I would love to see a more powerful speaker but the idea is amazing. Just needs a little more refinement.

False advertisement

I bought the zline convertible hood and it did say anywhere that I needed to purchase a new crown molding piece to actually use it as convertible. I had to spend another $100 just for the slotted crown molding piece, after spending almost $1000 for the hood. If you market it as a convertible, it should come with everything to do it. Needless to say I’m not happy and wish I never bought. I should get a $100 refund for your false advertisement.

Looks nice but pricey

I bought the vent kit for the convertible vent hood in December 2022. My kitchen renovation is not finished yet, so I don’t have a review on the good or bad features. I wanted to have a recirculating system so my contractor didn’t have to cut a hole in my wall. This seems like a great option. The reason why I said it was pricey is the vent hood cost $900 +/-. Plus another $165 for the vent kit. You would think it would have included all necessary parts for the price.

Poor quality speakers

The molding itself looks and installs as expected. However, I was very disappointed with the quality of the speakers. I have bathroom fans with Bluetooth speakers that are a hundred dollars cheaper than this molding kit and the speakers are far better quality. Had a much higher expectation from a "high end" brand like Z-Line. Save the money, stick to the regular molding and buy a nice Bluetooth speaker for your kitchen!

[Rewarded Review] Gives your project a finished look

After numerous project delays, I was finally able to put the crown on and call it done. Zline helped me pick out the perfect item for my kitchen. The fit could be a little tighter but I'd buy it again. The installer wants one to finish another customer's project.

Beautiful Range Hood !

LOVE this range hood. We did a complete remodel of our 90's kitchen. Purchased the Zline Vented Crown Molding Wall Mount Range Hood in Durasnow/Stainless steel and it sets the tone of our entire kitchen remodel. It's beautiful & the first thing you notice when you walk in. Very sturdy and does a great job. Love that we get more than one option with the light!

The RangeHood Store doesn't take returns.

Bought it for the remodeling of my kitchen but didn't use it because we changed the configuration of the kitchen. I was able to return the hood to Home Depot for a refund. The molding was bought on line from the Range Hood Store and doesn't take returns for a refund. I have a new item in a box that I can't use! Do not buy from the RangeHood Store unless you know that the item can be used.

ZLINE Crown Molding Review

Purchased this item to finish off the ducting appearance from the ZLINE Range Hood purchased. It was very easy to install and fit perfectly in the space preconstructed by our builder for an outdoor vent hood. The dimensions were perfect. Very pleased with the quality and fit of the product.

Beautiful product but I had some hassles installing which included sawing off a few inches of the upright piece because my ceiling was too low (but not really), and then ordering the wrong sized trim price for the whole thing which has to be correctly sized to the upright. Gotta uninstall the upright piece now to install the trim piece. It’ll look good when I finally get it all together. The buttons are a bit strange on this thing. Turning on/off the fan had some strange non-intuitive methodology, but we manage. It does definitely suck out the smoke from cooking!

This range hood was fairly easy to install in our kitchen remodel. My husband and I completed the install in just a few hours (wiring from previous hood was already installed). We also ordered and installed the trim kit. This gave it a professional finished look. I love our new range hood. Everything works great and it looks wonderful. Thank you ZLine!

Very impressed with the packaging - did a great job...

Very impressed with the packaging - did a great job of ensuring the unit was protected from dings and scratches! It’s beautiful! Only issue we had was the control module (power/fan/light buttons) wasn't attached to the hood face; not a big deal, we used 3M double-sided tape & worked perfectly to hold in place. Also, reviews about buttons being hard to push - no such issues with ours! Very happy!

Nice fit and finish

I decided to get this after needing the "short kit" for my fan and seeing the cabinets finally installed. They have crown molding at the ceiling so it would look weird if the vent didn't have one. This looks great and was really easy to install!

Purchased the vented crown molding CM6V-8KBC to support re-circulation and match the gorgeous range hood 8KBC-30 we recently purchased. This is a standout range hood that will be the center of attention in our kitchen - deservedly so. Just wish it had Off-Dim-On light instead of Off-On.

This Zline exhaust hood is a great showpiece with great function. Lighting looks great and exhaust really pulls air.
