[Rewarded Review] Hobby Greenhouse

It’s super adorable. My husband who assembled it said it was pretty easy to put together. He’s very handy. I love it enough to buy another to go next to it. I wasn’t sure how much space it would take up.

Ok for the price. Better with modifications.

The size was perfect for our tiny space. But it needed several modifcations to work well, and make it last. We put ours on a pressure treated foundation. The paint it comes with is extremely thin. We installed this fall. It is only February, and it already looks more like a wash then paint. We will be repainting it this summer. The side doors are deigned to open inside over the shelves./ But that makes the inside shelf space unusable. So we reversed the side doors to open out. The ceiling lift doors need knobs which we also added. The slide bolt latches are a pain in the butt as even on a level foundation, they no longer align , So we replaced them with hook and eyes. The lift hinges for the ceiling windows are pretty cheap and already rusting. So, with modifications, it works decently. It is cute. But plan at least having to paint it, if you want it to last..

I love this sun room ! It's spacious enough to walk around inside of it . I am planning on putting a trellis around it and a cat house in the bottom for any kitties that need shelter. It remains cool inside so our indoor cat hangs out in it enjoying some sun. It was super easy to put together as well and took well to the paint . Definitely recommend .

Not As Described

I was very disappointed in what was in the description and what I actually got. First, the description stated that the measurements were 72 X 72. That is FALSE! We built a base out of concrete blocks to accommodate that size and while putting it together we found it to measure 62 X 72. We had to redo our base. The description also indicated that a Cover Shade was included. When we didn't find it in any of the boxes I reached out to the manufacturer. I received a reply that it was a mistake and they contacted Tractor Supply to remove it from the description - receiving that was one of the main points for us to purchase this greenhouse. The "locks" for the windows and the door, which were attached at the factory, aren't matched very well making them difficult to close without manipulating the window or door. I think that over time the hinges will become loose from the manipulation. And when the windows are open and there is a breeze, they flap since they are not secured. We plan to attach some sort of latch to prevent this and any damage that might occur. We do like the overall design, but for the price it should have been made with higher quality materials. The clear panes are very thin. The assembly instructions (there are no words, just pictures) need larger pictures for better viewing.

Zylina Greenhouse

Love this little greenhouse. Once I finished building a level foundation and laying out the pieces, I was able to build in 2 hours. I did look at YouTube prior to starting for an idea of what I could expect out of this project.

I’m so excited! Everything was what I expected. It was way easier to assemble than I thought it would be. You do need 2 people. You do need to know a couple predrilled holes were there, made me laugh but we were able to predrill easily. Do not try to screw without ore drilling those missed ones the wood will crack. I did expect it to be pressure treated wood, it was not so I will have to get a coat of paint on it. It is primered though. All in all I’m very happy!

Easy install, but question the quality

I built this in 1 11/2 hours. There are a lot of air gaps, the locks were not installed correctly. It will work for my flowers. and other plants as I am not a huge gardener. Smells like cedar, so it should last a bit.

Beautiful Hobby Greenhouse

Gorgeous sturdy hobby greenhouse. Easy to assemble. We added handles to the roof vents for easier opening and closing.
