Useless can opener

Absolute,rubbish. Tried on three different cans. Would not open any of them .

Hard to use

Can opener - hard to use. I struggled using it, don’t think an older person could cope too fiddly. Felt like throwing it the window

It does not open common Australian cans (eg. Edgell brands). It seems to need a wider edge ridge on the can to be able to attach to the can. Not suitable in Australia

SAFE EDGES AFTER OPENING CAN!!!

I know its pricey for the item, however I will say this, the item works as intended extremely well. The edges are cleanly separated and will not cut you or anything else. I know its a small quality of life perk but when you open up as many cans as I do this tends to be a good investment. Even if it is a little pricier than other can openers. This one is pretty legit though. To whoever came up with this product, designed it and all deserves props. This is a SMALL quality of cooking change and I appreciate it. This is my second one too. These things are pretty awesome. I understand if you don't want to pay the price but if you do, you will be impressed with how cleanly the lid comes of the can. You can also easily wrap the top or but the top back on and stick it in the fridge for later use. It's pretty ridiculous but works. Great Job!!!

Worst can opener ever

I thought by spending $$ on a can opener and buying a good brand would result in a quality can opener. It is useless, after a lot of messing around finally got lid off. Just wasted $39 Aus . Don't waste your money!!

difficult to use

We have had this about a year, buying it because I unwisely thought an expensive device would work well and last a long time, as had our previous can opener. Both my husband and I have had great difficulty getting it to work on various cans (thank goodness for ring pulls on many foods!).

Very hard to use!

Quite difficult to use at all, let alone to achieve lid removal with no sharp edges. Would not recommend this product at all.

Difficult Can Opener

Can opener may cut as stated but extremely difficult to use especially on larger cans. Definitely not recommend to buy

Stay away.

From new, did not work at all. The gear will not consistently rotate the can and the lid is not cut off the can. Extremely frustrating and a complete waste of money.

Rubbish

I have purchased two can openers that allegedly should not leave sharp edges. This one is not working. I thought it was me that didn't know how to use it, but it is te design that actually fails. The second one I have bought is the MasterClass, and it works superbly. Maybe I haven't figured out how to use it, and that makes it even worst.

Really cool can opener

As described, it opens cans without leaving any sharp edges. (I've read up on how it works and it's fascinating.) It's fairly easy and comfortable to use once you get the hang of it. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I do struggle a bit with it sometimes.

Great safety can opener

Great safety can opener. Easy to use, safe. Bought this to make DIY camp stoves out of old cans; wood and alcohol stoves, and can lanterns. This makes a clean cut and helps to maintain strength in the body of the can while allowing for a useable lid. A different safety can opener left small indentations along the rim of the can, which for those nuts who like to make nice DIY things with cans might care about..... Would recommend. Thanks.

Sturdy, well-made, and a significant upgrade to c

I'm not the type of guy that drops this much on something like a can-opener, but this thing really is a game-changer. It doesn't cut the can metal, it merely forces apart the lid from the can, essentially reversing the process that happens when the cans are sealed at the factory.

Safe and Simple

I purchased this online after many frustrations with supermarket-purchased can openers which dont work. This one while very expensive is worth its weight in gold as it works beautifully and is safe and simple to use.

Love my new can opener. Opens by cutting side ways through the rim so leaves no sharp edges to get cut on !! great quality product...I am glad I found such an excellent product....won't be buying cheap junk again !

Verdict still out

My can opener is working perfectly. I love how it doesn't create any sharp edges. However, the verdict is still out since this is a replacement . The first one stopped working properly with one year.

Have not had a chance to use the product in the last three days since it was delivered because despite covid 19 lockdown restrictions we have not yet been driven to eating exclusively out of cans! However, hust by the feel of this tool and the obvious precision in the engineering, I am sure it will perform superbly for many years, just like most Swiss made/designed products.

The Zyliss can opener did not work successfully. Very frustrating. Sometimes it opened but only after trying several times. We even went online to see if we were using it right. Very hard to handle. Will get a different brand.
