We had an ant invasion in our last sugar canister - ugh! I shopped forever for a glass container, wide enough to dip in a measuring cup, with a lid that seals. One star off because the seal doesn't seem particularly tight. We shall see!
This jar is not air tight. I plan to return it. The seal is not what I expected.

PERFECT for storage!
I purchased the Montana Glass Canisters to store my Tide Pods. I like the visual and the brushed silver lid has a silicone seal for my laundry products. The glass is a good weight and not delicate.
I will buy other sizes because they are so handy and well made <3

Large and well made. Its Anchor Hocking.The lid has a flexible gasket that pushes out some air when closing ( no threads ) and has a slight vacuum when opening . Too early to tell just how well it preserves contents. A fine container to showcase herbs, spices or anything that interests you. Ill date myself...remember the old Twilight Zone with the jar everyone gathered to look at and wonder at the contents? Its that big. I did get a very good price compared to other offers.
