Lid did not tighten
Ordered the larger and smaller jar.
The jar was advertised as 2 gallon when I bought it, it's not. The jar is 2 quarts and the description now says that. I needed 2 gallons not quarts. It was not worth the hassle of returning
The jar is ok, but the lid is not good. When you try to tighten it it starts to tighten and then releases. I have two of the gallon size containers like these and have no trouble with the lids.
skip this one
has a paper insert at the top of the lid. you have to keep this in or the lid does not stay in the jar. not exactly the most sanitary thing.
Lid, jar threads -lousy
I ordered two. One of the jars, the lid won't tighten so I have to put a piece of plastic under it so it won't just pop off.
lids do not tighten down
The lids do not tighten down. If you use them for crackers as the name of them says you will have stale soggy crackers
The Perfect Glass Jar
This is just about the perfect glass jar. It's completely functional for storing items like flour or sugar in the kitchen to crayons or chalk in the kids' room. Also, it looks good on the counter. I think it goes with every decor from modern to early american and everything in between. You can't go wrong choosing this jar. Plus, it's the right price .... !!
Very nice glass storage container with screw top lid. I use it for flour, coffee and sugar storage in my pantry. I also put a ton of Halloween candy (candy bars, laffy taffy, m ms, etc) into them for a nice and easy to access container.
I thought this was going to be a larger jar according to the description. Thiscwas supposed to be a 2 gallon jar and I received a 64 oz jar.
The jar itself was nice but the lid was a cheap thin aluminum and didn’t fit the jar very tight and I could not trust to pick it up by the top/lid part for fear the lid would pop off. The inside seal on the lid came off which made the fit very loose.
Not as advertised. Said two gallon but the jars are not even one gallon. Lids are not great. The price however, was very good so keeping them for a different purpose.
Description of glass container is deceiving
The description states that this is a 2 gallon container, but in actuality it’s only 64 ounces which is half a gallon
Not 2 GALLONS ONLY 64 oz lid don’t stay on
I ordered two of these. Was supposed to be 2 gallons as stated in the advertisement. I received 64oz size. I was told I would receive the correct ones. I still haven’t received them. I don’t think they exist and Walmart is selling these as two gallons THEY ARE ONLY 64 oz also the lids DO NOT STAY ON. VERY POOR I WOULD NOT PURCHASE AGAIN
Size Inaccurate
False Advertising: 64 oz does not equal 2 gallons. I expected a two gallon container for food storage. The lid isn’t even the best fit for food storage. Do better.
Not as described - this is two quarts
This holds two quarts instead of two gallons. Do not expect a two-gallon jar as described.
Description if item is wrong.
This item is not a 2 gallon jar. The write up is totally wrong. It won't even hold a full gallon. Much less 2gallons. You need to correct the write up. It could cause problems. I can use them, just not what they were bought for.
Reading, writing and arithmetic are important.
I ordered what was advertised as 2 gallons. Received item that is labeled 64 oz. Not the same sweetie!
Description NOT accurate
The product is not as described. It states it is a 2 gallon container. No where near. It is at best a 2 quart container. I will use it in my craft room instead of food pantry. It will be put to use.
NOT 2 GALLONS, more like 1.5 quarts
This listing is for 2 GALLONS but the container is maybe 1.5 quarts. Not sure . I'm keeping anyhow but I needed the 2 gallons
the lids dont fit 💔. i just got them. ordered 4. out of 4 inly 1 lids fits. This is heartbreaking. I was so excited for them. im starting to jar up all my creations.
