A great quality, stylish product at a super price

This is a fabulous product from Kilner and I happened upon these 1-litre models at a super price from Dunelm. In fact, I changed my mind and ended up ordering 4 rather than intended 2 jars as there are always other foods needing decent, clean storage. I love the tight sealing clip top on these jars and the smart overall design will embellish any kitchen. An iconic product!

Nice jars

I'd already bought the 2 litre jars for cereals and needed some for flour, they were perfect height for the area where they were to be stored but they hold 1kg of flour and plain and SR flour come usually in 1.5kg but that is a small point and my problem! The clip on the lid is very strong. They look grand.

Perfect in every way!

I bought these to mix protein shake to take to the gym as my drinks bottles started to leak. These are ideal! No leakage, easy to shake the mix and drink straight from the jar after classes. I went on to buy six (on a two-for offer) and they are perfect for storing dried lentils, bulgur wheat, nuts and dried dates and apricots. My husband was happy for me to buy more because he says they look nice! They are also durable and sturdy. Perfect in every way!

Love these jars

I love all the Kilner swing top clip jars and have purchased several of every available size. Their glass is sturdy, thick, and well made, and the orange rubber gasket/metal wire clip design provides an airtight seal, keeping your food fresh for many, many months. For extended freshness, I like to toss in an oxygen absorber before clamping down the lid. A line of these jars, filled with various foods, and arrayed neatly on your counters or pantry shelf, is so satisfying and pleasing to the eye! So much better than the jumble of messy bags I had before. Now, encased in clear glass, I can at a glance see how much food is left.

The jars were excellent for the purpose to which they were put. This second batch were a replacement for those broken in an earlier delivery. It would appear that the basics of packaging are not well taught, which is a pity, because the jars were a very good price and the replacements and their carriage. means that Dunelm's margins are somewhat reduced

Redid my whole pantry with Kilner jars

I love these jars! I recently moved to the country and had a mouse problem in the pantry. So I bought a bunch of Kilner jars of various sizes and migrated everything from bags and boxes into glass. Not only is my pantry now mouse-proof, but it's also beautiful!

Reasonably thick so it doesnt shatter or break easily although dont try dropping it the glass is durable and will last or years. The see through nature of the jar means not only is it immediately obvious what you have stored in the jar but also allows the contents of the jar to provide their own sense of decoration on the side of your kitchen as well as a handy indictator as to when the contents of your jar may need replenishing.The glass lid is attached by a metal hinge and rubber seal which ensures that the contents of the jar remain dry and fresh.Top tip use a dry marker pen to label the contents of the jar useful so you dont mix up dry dog and cat food.These jars are on the larger side so make sure you get the right size for what you want to store.

Mine are filled with seeds and other toppings. Theyll also be great for storing homemade preserves etc and ive no doubt that theyll stand up well to dishwasher cleaning as well as sanitsing in the oven if needed.Brought four and all came in perfect condition well bubble wrapped for protection.

The Kilner 350ml Storage Jar is a great canning and storage jar. The case of 12 arrived from Canada with no exceptions and the packing materials used are all Ecofriendly, even the Styrofoam peanuts. The jars are accessorized with red and white gingham but all of those papers are removed and you are left with a relatively heavy jar with a rubber gasket and wire bail locking mechanism. The only reason I cant give the jars 5 stars is because they cannot be stacked securely. I have become spoiled by another brand thats top is designed as a reverse of its bottom and they stack beautifully without wobbling. If youre planning on putting up 12 jars of strawberries in the larder this spring and stacking your canning jars to save on storage is of paramount importance you might want to look further
