Cake Pan Is Not Completely Square

I returned this because the sides were not straight but were made at an angle. This requires that the frosting has to be applied to the cake unevenly.

Wilton cake pans

Wilton pans are Wilton pans...good quailty, easy to clean, just what you need when baking.

Wilton pans are wonderful! though I recommend drying them completely and placing a paper towel between layers of you stack them while storing them away because any amount of moisture will rust mark them!! (I learned this the hard way )

This cake pan is really versatile. If you bake ons 10" layer, you can bake another, cut it into one piece 2/3rds the size, stack it on top and stack the other 1/3rd on top of that to have a simple tiered cake to feed a group of about 20 people. If you don't make large cakes, stick with the 8 or 9" size. 3 layers of this cake will easily feed 30. The pan bakes evenly, but this size and larger should use the cone insert and wrap the outside with baking strips.

A good product

I haven't had the opportunity to use the 10" square cake pan. I have a recipe that requires a 10" square by 2 1/2 deep pan and this one from Walmart.com is the closest to the exact dimensions of the recipe instructions that I could find anywhere and I looked all over town and online. I'm sure it will be good for my purposes. It seems to be of sturdy quality too.

Perfect size for Chocolate Eclair Cake

I used these cake pans for non-bake cakes. I lined the pans with heavy duty aluminum foil and the recipes fit perfectly in the pans. Clean up was a snap, just balled up the aluminum foil, tossed it in the trash and wiped out the pan.
