[Rewarded Review] I used to dislike filter pitchers, but not this time!

This has already saved me over $30 in bottled water purchases since I started using it 2 weeks ago. My kids and I were going through a few cases a week. Our tap water is so chlorinated that running the faucet for a minute or two smells like you're at a public pool. I absolutely couldn't drink it, it made me nauseous. But I haven't really liked filter pitchers in the past. I found that the other brand I had tried in the past didn't have good deals on the filters themselves and charcoal floaties were a major issue. It was also not that easy to tell when a filter needed swapped. This system is, this far, floatie free, the water is crystal clear and delicious, and I love that it has a replacement warning light! My kids and I don't have to guess! Now if only it had a reminder that could make my kids refill it every time 😉

The PUR 11 cup pitcher works perfectly for my family. This water pitcher definitely filters faster than I am used to with there2 in 1 filtration system. The water tastes amazing. I love the classic blue color. The shape of the pitcher fits better in my refrigerator. It was very easy to put the filter into the pitcher, and with the lock fit design, I knew it was secure. Great dishwasher safe product that is used daily in my home.

This is an 11 cup filtered pitcher from PUR. It has a few neat features such as the filter change light and the easy-fill lid. The filter should last for 40 gallons or up to 2 months. The pieces are dishwasher safe. The water tastes great. I live in an area that has very hard and unpleasant water. It is not good to drink from the tap. It is amazing how my water tastes clean and fresh immediately after being filtered in the PUR pitcher. The 4 star is because it is a large pitcher and I have a counter depth fridge, so I would rather have the slimmer version to save room, but otherwise I do love this pitcher and I do recommend it especially if you have hard, dreadful tap water.

The PUR water pitcher has been great so far. The 11 cup option works well for filling up my ice machine with filtered water. This doesn't take too much space on the counter. So far the taste is clean and crisp. It gets rid of several different pollutants from tap water. Installing the filter itself is super easy and no need to soak. Filling up the pitcher takes little time at all. I like that some of the parts are dishwasher safe, so I don't need to worry about finding time to handwash.

PUR Pitcher filters water gives your tap water a zest without worrying about impurities from the faucet. The pitcher can hold 88 fluid ounces which equates to 11 cups. The flip opening tends to close while refilling if you do not stick your finger into the indent to keep it from closing. There is a cool feature of a LED filter indicator. The filter is easy to install and replace and clean. After usage of this product, I find my tap water tastes better after being filtered with the PUR filter. I give this product two thumbs up!

love the water, not the pitcher

The Pur water filtration is worth 5 stars in my book. The water is great and I know I'm getting the best water available via a pitcher system. (I really wanted to buy a counter-top dispenser but, after reading countless reviews, the seeming consistent lack of quality made me go back to the pitcher.)

Cracked and Broke at Handle Twice!

I bought two of the dispensers that sit on the counter and those molded at the spout. You’ll notice a pink film after a week or so. After this, I switched to the pitchers and started wiping the spout dry, but now the handle broke twice in a row. A long time ago, I bought their faucet attachment and hated that too! What was I thinking buying another one of their products?! I bought a Brita and I like it so much more. The Brita feels far better made, has a color-coded light that helps at night and glows green or red to let you know when the filter goes bad. It filters water far faster and the filters are easier to change, too. The PUR just comes with stickers to remind you when to change the filter. Don’t waste your money on this PUR!

I absolutely love the PUR water filtration pitcher, it produces such a refreshing flavor of water and holds plenty of water. This has got to be the most used item in my house and it’s helped us drink more water. Before having the water pitcher, we constantly bought water bottles and hated how much plastic waste we were using. On top of that we never drank from the tap. Having the PUR water filtration pitcher has made us more environmentally friendly by cutting down dramatically on single use plastic waste. We simply fill it up, place in the fridge and drink when needed. It has a button on top with a color gauge that keeps track of the filter lifecycle. You simply tap the button and it glows the indicator light if its good or needs to be changed.

This PUR Pitcher filters water and makes tap water taste better. The pitcher holds 11 cups so it can get pretty heavy but does hold plenty without having to refill often. I found the handle to be not particularly comfortable to hold and I have to use two hands especially when refilling. The flip opening tends to close while refilling if you do not stick your finger into the indent to keep it from closing. I do like that it has the LED filter indicator because I am very diligent about replacing the filter. The filter is easy to install and replace. All the components are easy to clean and there aren't too many nooks and crannies that are difficult to scrub. I like that the lid stays tightly on the pitcher, which is an improvement to past PUR pitchers where I had to hold the lid down as I poured due to fear that it would fall off. It pours pretty cleanly and there is minimal leaking down the sides of the pitcher if at all. PUR Filtration Pitchers are my preferred water filtration system because it is affordable and easy to replace the filter regularly. I like that you can put the pitcher into the fridge in the summers and then on the counter during colder months when I want room temperature water. I like the peace of mind of having contaminants and substances being filtered from my tap water. It doesn’t take very long to filter an entire pitcher of water. While I have relatively clean and soft tap water, it still tastes better after being filtered with the PUR filter. Overall, I think this is a good filtration pitcher but it can get heavy and is not the most comfortable to carry.
