Seems like high quality, but length of drain stem could be longer to allow more adjustment. The drain stem being the tub attach to the upright. No customer service was needed

This fits the American Standard Soaking tub. It is the only drain that will fit the tub. It matches the Arctic White tub. Looks great!

Terrible design. Don't get any tub that uses this

So much trouble getting the Evolution tub that uses this drain not to leak, and this isn't our first plumbing job. The plastic plate falls off continuously. The screws do not hold it in place. Terrible design-the metal bracket does not hold the screws. Now I need to replace the metal gasket, and can't find one online anywhere without buying a whole new assembly.

This is the reason the American Standard Deep Soak tub can get so deep! And I love the punch down/punch up drain.

Leaks and vibrates

Just over a month into using this drain and the lower drain is already loose and lets water out of the tub. As it does so, the entire drain apparatus--and thus the tub--vibrates loudly and aggressively. Cheap and poorly made. DO NOT BUY.

Not compatible without major modification

Exact kit needed for my American Standard deep soak tub. It has a unique overflow and this was the correct one. Easy to install. Works perfectly.

Leaks around the drain

This drain makes a terrible noise as water leaks past the rubber and makes a very loud humming noise. It was very expensive to be such a bad design.

The drain/heater deep soak Max works well and allows for a luxurious deep soaking bath in conjunction with the Evolution deep soak hydromassage tub. The top mount overflow allows for deeper bath water level.

The product is a bad design. This setup will leak because of the washers. A glue together set up is preferred-especially if a floor Joist is right below. The 1.5 twist together junk can not accommodate unless it is right in the middle of a joist. I would not recommend this product

The installation was decent. I had a little trouble, but that may have had more to do with our old tub and drainage. This new drain is great quality. Too bad that it’s covered. It’s nice looking. I like the grate on it too. It looks good and seems functional.
