This will help me keep my ceiling fan clean. My ceiling is 15 ft high. This will make it much easier to clean my fan.
Did not receive the correct item. Diameter was smaller than 3/4 inch so I was unable to use the item.
be careful ordering online
Downrod ordered didn't fit & the ceiling fan purchased online was discontinued and not even in stock at time of order apparently. After 4 days of showing no shipment progress, I had to call Lowe's customer service & have them call the vendor which they explained the fan was out of stock & discontinued & no longer available. Terrible 1st online ordering experience w/Lowe's.

The threads that were supposed to attach to the fan housing seemed not to be cut properly. I was only able to screw the piece in perhaps half way. Then it jammed. I had to use a pipe wrench to remove it and of course damaged it. I went to another building supply store and picked up another one. It fit just fine and had no problem installing it. Poor is too high a rating, but there was nothing lower.

The rod was not of standard size and wouldn't fit...
The rod was not of standard size and wouldn't fit the fan socket correctly, leaving the fan extremely wobbly. I had no option but to return the product and purchase an alternative.
It' works
It works but we could have used a shorter one, but wasn't able to locate one on line, so it hangs low, if your too tall you must walk around it.
Rod came exactly as ordered.
Other than a slight difference in the oil bronze color from the Hampton Bay fan I purchased, it was fine. I installed it in a cathedral ceiling, so it is not noticeable. It could be an issue with a low ceiling.
