My Minka fan had a 24 inch down rod which was too long. Home Depot had an 18” which was great. Ordered it online and arrived quickly. I had it installed and couldn’t be happier.

I had a flush mount Minka ceiling fan and raised the ceiling in a remodel. Bought this thinking Minka downrods would all work. Not so…. And because construction took so long, too late to return. Just double check to ensure it is the right size and will fit before ordering. My lesson learned.

This is the second Minka-Aire fan I've bought from Lowes. The fans are really great. Easy installation, very quiet, and they move a lot of air. The LED light is surprisingly bright for a fan of this size. The customer service at Lowes is fantastic, without any hassles in buying or picking up the order. Highly recommend! A+++

Well, buying multiple down rods was suggested for the Minka Aire fan. The down rods are not able to be attached to each other to lower the drop. 18" only ONE end is threaded so it was useless buying multiple rods as they cannot be connected together

I ordered this because I needed a specific color called”burnished nickel”for a Minka aire fan I purchased and according to Home Depot and the manufacturer this was the specific rod for that fan. The color still doesn’t match my fan, it’s really the same color as the rods that are in stock in home depot so it was useless to me and I returned it.
