Easy Installation for a Lightweight Interior Door

If you've properly sized your rough opening (1" extra on the top and each side, compared to the measurements for the door itself), these pre-hung doors couldn't be easier to install. All you need are some shims and 3" construction screws (and some drywall compound to then fill in the screw holes on the jambs). Wham, bam, thank you ma'am.

Poor quality, nothing but cardboard

We bought 7 of these doors with frames. Don’t try to paint with water base paint, they warp all to crap!

Hinge should fit mortise.

top jamb fastened to sides with two thin gauge staples which pull out when handling. mortise is oversized for hinge leaving gaps that look unsightly and cheap. Need to be filled to look proper. Pain in the you know what. Made in Canada? Does the factory have a QC dept? Wouldn't take much to improve

Poor quality, very disappointed

Multiple hinges aren’t mounted straight, and one of the hinges is loose as the holes are stripped (can’t be tightened, the screws just turn in place) which causes the entire door to wobble.

Inconsistent quality

Bought 4 doors and maybe 1 didn't have an issue. One straight up has a hinge that wasn't morticed, and multiple other hinges didn't fully fit in the mortice or had to be re-sat to force it in. Two have bore holes that don't align with the strike plate because the margin is so narrow.

Too small

Seems nice bra but had to return it as too tight. I'm not sure it is true to size.
