Defective

I bought this outdoor shower three years ago and just got around to installing it by my pool. The scratch threads were defective and my plumber could not screw the stem on to the faucet all the way to the bottom.

I had this installed for an outdoor rinse shower adjacent to a hot tub. I really like the minimalist look and overall aesthetic. Yes, it only works with a single water connection, and does not have temperature adjustment. No, I have not experienced any corrosion with several months of exposure to the elements. Overall it looks great, does exactly what I want, and I would definitely buy this product again!

Instant rust

I bought this specifically for the single function, and I liked the design. I was recently able to install it after buying awhile back. Easy installation except for having to buy an o-ring for the shower to pipe connection. After the first shower I started seeing rust at the head openings. Now after a month of use it’s completely corroded and there are other rust spots on the other parts also. They did realize this would come in contact with water, right? I will be contacting the manufacturer directly to see if they can remedy this but in the meantime I absolutely do not recommend this product.

Lovely design

A beautiful, minimal design for our outdoor rinse shower, installed for cold water use only. The plumber had no problem installing.

Stylish

We bought this S/S outdoor shower about 2 weeks ago. Shipping was quicker than quoted, which was nice. The item was well packed with exact instructions on fitting and even included the PTFE tape. We are very happy with the look and the quality of this shower and the price was an added bonus.

Questionable about stainless steel quality

I purchased this product and had it installed in an outdoor shower at a beach home in North Carolina. Now after two months of use, corrosion is showing on the shower head . One of the purposes for my purchase initially was the fact that supposedly I could use this in an outdoor setting without worrying about rust, corrosion, etc. I have no complaints about the function of the product. It performs impeccably. Of course, the metric set screw everyone complains about not being included in the shipping, likewise was not included in mine. A small fix at the hardware store. My plumber also installed a mixing valve which rectified complaints others have about being a single outlet shower; small fix.

Love how simple this shower is.

Needed an outdoor pool shower and fell in love with this one, it's only one temperature, the temperature of the water coming into it, the shower head is fabulous and installation was simple. The stainless steal was exactly what I wanted.

Pretty but incomplete

One of the luxuries of an outdoor shower is to be able to warm up after getting out of the cold water. This device has only one inlet, and the control only controls the volume of water that comes out. You can only inlet either all hot water or all cold water, neither of which is satisfactory. Now I’ve got to figure out whether to install a mixing control somewhere upstream where I can set it at one temperature only and supply the temperature water to this shower. The next question is whether to just send it back.

Regrets still missing set screw

The fixture itself feels well made but I can’t speak to its function as the install has been delayed (now by two weeks) because of the infamous missing set screw that others have also complained about in other reviews. I emailed customer service as soon as my package arrived and discovered that SH had not fixed this issue and was still shipping this item with out the required set screw. I have yet to get any response from anyone as to this problem. At this point I regret ordering such an expensive item that has an issue that has also cost additional funds (paying our handyperson to return yet again). As the shower design was created around this piece- I’m now just stuck waiting - no outdoor shower- all over a small piece of hardware that should have been included. Customer service: PLEASE EMAIL ME BACK AND DISCOUNT THIS PURCHASE.

Good product, but missing a part.

The overall quality of the outdoor shower fixture is good. However, the kit was missing a small set screw that secures the mounting bracket to the shower pipe. It helps prevent the pipe from swiveling side to side on the wall. I fished through my collection of extra IKEA furniture parts and was able to find a metric screw I could modify for the purpose. The shower now looks and works great, but the missing set screw was an unwelcome delay in an otherwise smooth installation.

Works great with a tempering valve, luke warm

While most people think this is cold only, my plumber added a "Mixing Valve" connected to the hot and cold water at the house and adjusted the temperature so now the water coming out of the shower head is just right. The temperature at the mixing valve can be adjusted by turning a big knob based on your preference. Mixing Valve is not cheap but it works great.

READ THE FINE PRINT ( If there is any fine print)

This is a single source fixture. So you can't install with both hot water and cold water. I wasn't smart enough to understand this. So I had to have my plumber come out to explain this to me. So I had a service call. When I called and ask to return they wanted to charge me a fee for the shipping. I argued and finally they agreed not to charge me. Just a big hassle from the time it arrived until it was returned.

Perfect Shower!

I bought this for our outdoor shower near our pool. It was actually too short. but my handyman put a copper extension. It works great!!! Love the simplicity of the design, the shower head gives great coverage. Live in Florida so the fact that only one inlet is perfect. Love it! Signature Hardware was great . . .packing and shipping was perfect and received it quickly!

Solid

I just hooked this up for an outdoor shower. I was able to connect to an outdoor hose, simple connection. Used a 1/2" to 3/4" female swivel garden hose connection. Works like a dream! Solid construction and plenty of water from the oversized shower head. Incredibly refreshing. Highly recommended!
