Toilet Leaks
We have a Kohler wall-hung toilet and it is a disaster. It has been leaking since we bought it years ago and Kohler’s customer service is claiming that it is no longer under warranty and has been useless. Be prepared to tear out your wall and tile, if you install this product. Not worth it for me…
Nothing but trouble
I have repeated issue with this toilet not shutting off after flushing. The problem started after we got it four years ago and has persisted. Was not able to get any help through customer service.
So far, so good. Expensive and tough to install but worth it I think.
So far so good!
plumber was very happy
Product looks good and came highly recommend by the Plumber (as far as maintenance issues). Only issue wasn’t the box being damaged.
Pandora's toilet
This is just a disaster. We have a house with this toilet and it constantly leaks. Parts are not very cheap either, nor are they readily available.

This is my second Kohler Veil that I installed and they are both excellent products.

We love the space savings this toilet provides. The purchase of wall bracket and the toilet is well over $1000, would assume that they would include $1.50 worth of lag bolts. Nope. You will need to purchase a rubber sleeve if your waste lines are ABS. Another trip to hardware store. Errrrr.
Very classy!

Love the space savings. It was difficult to install as I had to move the sewer line. There was also no way to test it prior to putting the bowl on the carrier, which cant be done until the wall is finished. I am concerned about long term maintenance but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Veil In-Wall Toilet for 2x6 wall
I bought this in-wall toilet Flush System to go with a toilet I purchased locally. Its a beautiful system and overalll I'm pretty satisfied with it. I put it into a pretty tight space in my bathroom and the design does a nice job of saving space. The flush system seemed pretty well made. I certainly hope thats the case becuase as my contractor was tiling the wall I realized that if there ever was a problem with this system I might have to rip out the tile to get at the guts of the unit. My plumber said that usually isnt the case and that if the unit needed to be serviced most of the work could be done by accessing the system through the flush button plate. I havnt verified that but it makes sense. Its been a few months and I have to say it flushes really well and is about as elegant as a toilet can be when flushing. The only issue I will bring up is that I like my toilets at 14.5" from finished floor to the bowl rim. Thats not lower than is standard in the US, but deffinitely on the low side. This toilet on the lowest height setting was a good bit higher than that. So I had my contractor chisel out the wall sill plate where the Flush System Frame is bolted to the floor. This lowered the whole system another 1.75" which put it exactly where I wanted it. I'll remove one star for this as it required some quick Googling and math to take into account uninstalled tile thickness with impatient contractor and plumber getting frustrated by my preceived "pickyness" with my toilet height preference. 4 stars.
cheap quality for the $
Just installed this. Toilet does not even come with a seat & The actuator plate (flush) is cheap plastic! Not what I expected for a $1000 toilet.

You will probably want to be more than a novice DIY to handle this one, (or have it professionally installed), but the benefits for small bathrooms are not to be underestimated. The bowl extends only 21" from the finished wall, whereas a regular toilet is going to be about 31" (a savings of 10" of space! which was a make or break for my small bathroom area). I could have fit it into a 2X4 wall, but it was an outside wall so I made it a 2X6 to get more insulation around it; keep that loss of 2" in mind depending on location. In short, this is an above-average DIY competency project I'd say, but well worth the effort and the final product works excellent. For bathrooms with constrained space, it's a life saver.

Would definitely not recommend this for a retrofit.
Horrible Design
Apparently it has been leaking since installation. Kohler sends new parts and o-rings. Plumber keeps replacing, still leaks. Seems to me the design is flawed and for this kind of money that is horrible. The pipe coming out of the tank meets with the pipe coming from the toilet bowl. The upper pipe inserts to the lower pipe on the OD. So when the pressure of the water falling hits after about 5 flushes with new o-rings, the joint just starts to leak again. ruined the drywall, the studs are soaked, and it wont stop. Seems to me the pipe coming down from the tank should have inserted INTO the lower pipe. It will cost 1000s to rip all the bathroom walls out for a new toilet so our only choice here is another plumber call to just silicon the crap out of the two pipes to try and seal it up.

When you pay $800.00 for a toilet you would think the water supply would be included. We found that not to be the case. I then had to order the in wall system (separate) which was another $400.00. They then found the complete system on line for around $1000.00. $200.00 lost on purchase.

The flushing “buttons” have a bit of a squeak when pushed, but function very well and look good in chrome. The recommended bowl has awkward covers for the hanging bolts at the back, and we love the total open floor below which is very easy to clean. Having the tank in the wall minimizes room volume.
