NOTHING LIKE SHADE FOR YOUR TABLE

This umbrella stand is very sturdy and should last a very long time. It has a beautiful finish and has not rusted. It looks great with any type decor.

Cast Iron Umbrella Stand

Love it! The colour is just as expected an our umbrella stands perfectly. As it is wide base, the umbrella doesn't topple over in the wind. Be careful touching the base with bare feet on a hot summer day as the cast iron gets extremely hot. Otherwise, great addit to our back deck.

This is a good umbrella stand for it's weight. I put a brick on it to keep it from blowing over on windy days. It's a nice design and I would like to buy another one someday.

If USED PROPERLY, Its Awesome.

This stand MUST be used with the proper patio table. If you're buying it to use alone...of course it will get blown over in high winds. I dont understand the reviews that say its low quality. Its made very sturdy, looks nice, just the right weight and works properly when used and assembled correctly. These stands are meant to be used UNDER a patio table that has an opening for a patio umbrella...not a small, beach umbrella. It is not meant to hold an open umbrella in super high winds.

Nice and heavy - This should hold the umbrella well even in a strong wind. The colors look great, and as pictured. It was easy to assemble and place where needed.

The stand was not heavy enough and it blew over with the slightest breeze. I had to return it.

Blows Over

Pretty to look at but the slightest blow of wind tips the stand over, even at 20lbs and with a patio slab added. This umbrella stand would work well secured in a table but do not count on it to serve as shade in a free-standing capacity.

The main reason I bought this umbrella stand was for the plastic adapter sleeve at the top that is meant to help hold different sized poles in place. It only work for tiny poles and is not really adjustable (two settings only, big and small). My 1.5" pole is too large to fit into the smaller setting. By removing the inner sleeve, "the large setting," the holder is too wide to provide any benefit to stabilizing 1.5" poles. The tube into which the pole slides is thinner metal than my current stand such that the tube plus the plastic sleeve together still provide less support than my older heavier duty and thicker walled tube. Besides not doing what it says it does, this product is faux painted black and gold which is really cheap looking and I image this paint would wear off at some point leaving an ugly finish. This is the reason I hate shopping online. Home Depot was out of patio stands at the beginning of the season so I ordered online now wasting more time returning it.

I love the look of the umbrella stand but it did rust rather quickly for something that stays out in the rain so I’m disappointed with that
