Bright yet easy on the eyes

This lamp is tall enough to light the whole keyboard area of my desk and flexible enough to point it exactly where I need it. I particularly like the color of the light--white, but not glaring as though you're being interrogated.

Hampton Bay desk lamp - great until it isn't

We've had the lamp for several years, all was fine until it stopped working. I looked here to find that the bulb can't be replaced, so that's the end of the lamp! Looks like I buy a new lamp.

A friend told me about these craft lights and I bought one and fell in love with it. I went back to the store and bought two more lamps!

Wanted the same model as the one I had with digital display of temperature, time, date and cordless charger but this is a good substitute

Loves this slim lamp, it has four brightness settings and that was a delight to figure out. The adjustable neck also helps make the art-making easier.

Great lighting for people w/ Macular Degeneration

We have 3 Creative Curves Desk lamps and one standing Ottlite and we love them. I have Macular Degeneration and these lights are the best for me to see with. If you have MD be sure and get the Creative Curves because they have 4 light settings (I use the highest lighting level). Ottlite also sells desk lamps w/ a magnifier.

I am curious. Is this a rechargeable lamp or direct current power source?

You have to be patient when changing the brightness of the light. It is not instant. I love that the brightness can be changed and the arm is flexible enough to sine the light where I want. Takes up very little space.

I like the multiple light settings of not only intensity but settings from hot, bright white to cooler bluish or yellowish color. Because of my vision, I'm mainly on the hot, bright white. The base is a little big for my desk space. This lamp has replaced a 20+ year halogen lamp. The flexible neck allows me to direct light to where I need it most.

This is the second OttLite I have purchased. With its four choices of brightness, from dim to very bright to meet all requirements of light. It is light weight, does not require much room, easy to move but still sturdy so it does not tip when it is adjusted.

I love the OttLite lamps. I have some in my craft room and when my son was packing for college, I had to get one for his dorm room. They have a convenient USB port to help reduce the amount of things plugged into the wall for charging.
