This unit looks great at my house. The ceiling is high and does not have any trim or wood for the top of this hood to die into, but it still looks good despite stopping a couple feet short of the ceiling. I think the crown molding piece is the reason. All of the fan and light features work well.

Gorgeous addition to our kitchen

The hood fits perfectly into the theme of our 100 year old farm house. The option to add the stainless steel moulding was the perfect touch. We only have 7' ceilings so had to purchase the short ceiling kit in addition to the hood. We went with the recirculating option and while it does a good job we mY end up doing a direct vent as we can still set off the smoke detector! It's not a quiet fan by any means but it is great quality for a very reasonable price.

Good-quality product. Smooth and professional-looking. The color fits most kitchen themes. I liked a lot of things about this Zline range hood, but nothing convinced me to buy it than when I learned that it comes with a 400 CFM 4-speed motor with industry-leading lifetime warranty. Every practical buyer knows a good motor indicates excellent performance and warranty is some kind of bet made by the manufacturer that you will be satisfied with your choice.

The chimney measurements listed in the product specs (13.5" W x 11.75" D x 16.375" H), are not accurate. The chimney measurements on the one shipped (8.5" W x 8" D x 16.375" H). I purchased this item based on the listed measurements of the chimney, and was very disappointed with the end result. The installer modified the exhaust outlet to accommodate the chimney at no extra charge hence the reason for not returning the hood. I am also not satisfied with noise level, the low setting is loud, the high setting is unbearable. I do not recommend this item

Lovely and so well made!

After hunting high and low for a beautiful range hood for my new kitchen I came across this one and was really pleased to see the price. It was just what I was looking for AND it included the fan system. I received it quickly after ordering and couldnt wait to open the box and take a look. I was thrilled to see it is just as lovely as it looks online. I dont have it up yet as my kitchen hasnt been started yet. I will take a picture and post here as soon as the kitchen is complete. Do not hesitate to purchase this. Its awesome.

Great quality and price

I just installed the vent in a new kitchen renovation and I (and more importantly, my wife) am very happy with it. The quality is excellent for the price; as good as one costing three times the amount. I would buy it again. One suggestion: On the website, there needs to be a notation of where the electric outlet should be placed to plug in the hood. This, of course, needs to be placed well before the hood is installed. It could be that I missed it but I added an outlet the ended up behind the hood so modifications were required. Even so, I'd still recommend the unit to anyone needing a great vent hood.
